  Rodriguez said Beliz "abused her approximately once a week" from the time she was four until she was 11, when she and her family moved to California.

  I have a couple of questions to those that are more familiar with this case. Is Beliz a family member with Rodriguez? If he was able to abuse her once a week for a period of 7 years, how did he have so much contact with the family? Where did the abuse happen, in her home or his? Did he babysit her maybe? Just wondering how this is possible without Erica's parents having any hint of what was happening.

  Thank you for asking. My reinstatement was turned down, but the meeting was very peaceful and I was able to ask questions. I am doing some meditating on the matter and will post exactly what happened either tomorrow or Wednesday.

  i just had a scary thought.

  the wt could predict something, and because of the size of their organization, actually make it come true.

  lets say they had "new light" and every jw would be taken to heaven on a certain date.

  Death and Forgiveness

  my father died wednesday night.

  he's been bedridden, paralyzed, and tube fed for nearly five years, so it was more release than tragedy.. those of you who know my story will understand the miserable mix of emotions his passing has caused.

  the whole guilt and forgiveness issue shoved itself right up my nose into my forebrain.

  I do not know your story, I was not able to find it. By your post I am guessing that maybe your father abused you somehow. This makes me very sad. I hope you are able to find peace. When you lose a father, a part of you is gone too.

  I really do not know how to express myself too good, but I hope you find comfort and that your pain decreases with time. I will pray for you.

  Well I'm off of work for the weekend. I hope everyone enjoys their time off (if not working this weekend). Enjoy time with the family. Do some Bible reading and just relax.

  I will be meeting Sunday with my judicial committee for reinstatement. Wish me luck! I have made many stupid things in the past and I still need to work on many things. I want a relationship with Jehovah once again. I miss what I have lost. I have argued with some in this forum, but I do listen and only post what I feel. If some of those feelings or opinions seem like I am trolling, well I'm sorry but I can't change what is in my heart and what I think is right. Many accuse me of being brainwashed by the Witnesses. Well of course I am. I grew up as one. But I don't find a thing wrong in the doctrines we teach. There's been error on several fronts, but not in doctrine as I see it. But I will continue to pray, to read God's Word and to analyze.

  i've been thinking about this for sometime now and i wanted to know how other people felt about this comparison.

  the pharisees were known for hypocrisy and for also promoting traditions of men and other non-bibical teachings.

  when we look at the wtbs in light of the actions of the pharisees there are some amazing similarities.
