A JW who is not actively, consciously, strenuously seeking the Lord himself has already found what he is looking for. The LIEfestyle of a JW is worth more than anything to a JW. Because of this, my heart breaks for them. My sister and nephew are such ones.

About the UN issue, she said to me that she doesn't believe it, she can't and won't. Even though she later found it was true, her position is that Jehovah is using even the evil of this world to work his purpose and she trusts the GB explicitly as the direct channelers of God even though she doesn't understand everything. So, no matter what the GB says it is the "t" word to her. Her LIEfestyle is preserved.

She and I now find ourselves in the awkward position of each praying that the other hear the voice of God and wake up.

I think we all started out trying to find our Creator and his message for us, hoping a purpose for living would be revealed. It would be a shame if we could not admit we were deceived, misdirected and imprisoned by our own innocence. Sometimes, the hardest lessons in life to learn are the ones that challenge our pride. That inner need to "know" our Creator must still be there, somewhere inside you. He can be found by anyone willing to strive in their search for him. He will reveal himself to you and then you will be grateful for his mercy. If you do not yearn for him, you will never recover your innocence but will instead live the remainder of your life being deceived. I pray for all of you, continuously, that your hearts may soften and you will search with vigor for his Truth, Wisdom, Strength and Love.

My Lord, my God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords endured, with love for every one of us, false accusation, abuse, torture, humiliation, and excrutiating pain unto death by the "Governing Body" of the Jews so that every people and tongue could choose to believe in him and be saved by him to be with him, love & be loved by him for all eternity if we would only believe in his status as the Alpha and the Omega, The Redemer, The one and only Lord Almighty God.

That is one reason I appreciate all that Christ did for us.

I didn't see that covered in the J ritual.

have you found anything from a spiritual standpoint that brings you happiness and satisfaction?.

have you been so scarred by the teaching that "all religions are wrong", that you can't see the truth anywhere?.

Hello Stillhurts,

I think I understand how you are feeling. I have felt the same way on a large scale for a very long time.

Prayerfully ask to be led wherever God himself wants you to go if you really want to know him and his purpose for you. Be open minded, curious and diligent in research, make no instant conclusions but pray for constant guidance.

I am following this course and so far it has eliminated the heavy burden of doubt I've carried for decades. In its place I have the warm, full knowing that I am a child of God and am being led to the scattered remnants of truth of God's word through his "Word". My faith is getting stronger as the true foundation of accurate knowledge is being laid, through the Holy Spirt and my willingess to endure to the end.

There must be a complete heart connection to the Holy Spirt in order to find the Almighty God through his Son and grow peace in your life.

I could be completely wrong but it does feel right and has been a source of comfort for me since I've been struggling to balance my love for God and the realization that I can be fooled by man's (and wicked spiritual creature's) need to lead.
