We lose our loved ones twice.
by wanderlustguy ini just received a message from one of my closest friends.
we grew up together and were/are as close as brothers.
his father was like a second dad to mehe died two days ago after two weeks in the hospital.

Losing him twice....Lost my dad once when i got expunged from the r/f of the society vomital page and then again when he died...I can TOTALLY feel ya dude...and those who have died before us have paved the way for us to maintain with even more focused of purpose on what it is that we NEED to do-make change.
Change. The one thing that the WTBTS does not wish to acknowledge MUST happen in order for ANY of us (JW, XJW, DF, APOSTATE, NonJW, ALL) to become a bigger face on the earth-a HUMAN race. I can still recall hearing the same talks and the same drivel shovelled deep within our orifices that we thoguht would save us into the "New System" but ultimately I cannot remember any talks that spoke to HUMAN equality and HUMAN fair treatment regardless of race, creed, gender, sexual preference, religious preference and ANY other kind of categories that humans fit themselves into.
Lost my father....after easily 10-15 years plus of estrangement but somehow I feel as though this is the time and this is the place in which change CAN happen on a LARGE scale....maybe...just MAYBE he had to die in order for this change to occur...MAYBE it was not his place to make the next evolutionary step towards true equality but his death has sped up my own progress towards a bigger, better more HUMAN lifestyle.
And D, we ARE known...for each one of us that falls along the wayside there is a level of strength that is imparted from the anger and the pain that the WTBTS inflicts upon us and we USE it....more and more and MORE the ones who DONT know us are the ones who choose to look the other way and dig deeper into their own ignorance and pit of naive thought.
You said, "One day there will be enough of us to call these groups to an accounting for their abuse of position, and I hope I live to see it."
I say lets BE the cornerstone upon which the REAL truth is built-human truth...ya got my fires burning man....
I may have lost my pop July 3rd, the day before the celebration of independance for the USA, but it was a day that will have forever funneled a critical line of thinking into a birth of sorts into my own head....this baby is gonna grow and grow....we WILL be around to see them bite their collective fingers when our voices are too strong and loud to be ignored. Sigh...im gettin melodramatic again...(chuckle dammit man!)

Saw somethin really cool last weekend, take a peek. Zanex Engagement Pic
by wanderlustguy ini have a friend here that recently became engaged, and i was priviledged to be present for the event and took pictures for them.
i am posting this particular picture for a few reasons.... for the couple, i hope the future holds as much beauty as this place we call home.
i hope you are always able to look towards it together, as a team.

For the well wishers of our future thank you....for any others who really dont know the backstory like WLG says no biggie...we are content to know where we will be more like 30-80 years in the future and if we are ripping anything from each other it will be the blanket that we cant decide who will get more of on whatever given night...;) Its ok...but in a year or two when im STILL here and still with mrs zanex....I think i will have the last chuckle...
The love that you see in that picture has a lot of hard work that was put into it...there is a few years behind that picture....anyhow...

by zanex instarted out like any other normal day..with plans to go to taos with my girlfriend and a good buddy o mine (wlg) sorry mang...had to give u some recognition on this one...anyhow..we went out to a nice place for some breakfast..wandered around taos, went to the taos pueblos to get a chance to watch the native americans dance at the taos pueblo...then we went out to the taos gorge..which for those who dont know is a quite big hole in the ground bout a mile down...the bridge is somewhat a daunting look down for ones who have never seen it before.... anyhow...my girlfriend at first refused to step one foot out onto the bridge but with a little coaxing and a promise to make sure she wouldnt fall off i gradually brought her out to the middle of the bridge where there is a small outcropping where one can stand and look out over the gorge...we stood there staring over the side of the bridge for a few minutes then i slowly took her hand in mine and looked deep into her eyes.... ....and i dropped to one knee....(quite funny too cuz initially she was like what are you doing?
)....i still had her hand in mine and she was staring down at me like i was doing something silly or humorous like is my usual personality trait...i stared at her for a minute or two and said a few sentances of which are too personal to bring up here and then i asked her to marry me..... she looked at me and said "what?!
are you kidding me?!

ROTFLMAO.....ahh the old "ball and chain" analogy...gotta love it...its a good thing this ball and chain comes with a helluva chef attached to it! (I mean her not me...lol)
And thanx EVERYONE!!! it feels a bit different calling her my fiancee but she still looks exquisite to me first thing in the morning and last thing b4 i go to sleep at nite...maybe thats the REAL truth behind life and sharing it with someone...
