I dont get this "there never was a Palestinian state" argument. I just dont get it. Isn't it irrelevant.

As far as I know back in the 1940's the UN divided up Palestine -thats what the land was called under the British. They gave some to the Jews and some to the Arabs. Neither group has totally happy. Lots of fighting ensues. Israel expands its borders.

Later, Israel lauches a so called pre-emptive strike against Arab forces in 1967 and occuppies more land. UN 242 called for the Israelis to withdraw from what is called 'the occuppied territories', which is Gaza and the West bank, in return for peace with Israel. Lots more bullshit happens and they are still in a mess.

I think the solution is obvious. Something like what with Egypt and the Sinai has got to happen. Israelis get out of the occuppied territories in return for Arab aknowledge for Israels right to now exist and an end to hostilities. Is there any other solution possible. Its all seems cut and dry to me. Unfortunalty it wont happen. Both sides have their own demonology of the other side and continue to play the blame game. Neither side can see its own faults and is too busy pointing the finger.

Well Jelly...I've been using wwww.audiogalaxy and www.grokster(check them out, they're great) a lot lately to download heaps of mp3's and stuff...then I burn them to CD --just for personnel use of course. But I think the consensus is that no-one really cares. Not that I know squat about copyright law anyway! Not that I care of course!

shit. There was another post by Amazing about subscriptions being cancelled. In it he said that one of the reasons the WT were ending them was so opposers cant get an easy hand on them. I'd like to know what would happen if someone put them up on the net for download...say, through grokster or something. I mean, heaps of stuff goes up thats copyrighted...but that doesn't seem to stop anything????

Making our own underground news / media

is there any way in which anyone of us could organise our own amatuer media outfit, to seek interviews with the wt hq's.

the teams could be made up of one interviewer, one camerawo/man and another to keep exact notes of the proceedings.. with broadband width now having been introduced, how can we avail these resources to our advantage in manipulation of media interest upon the wt, how can we create stories for ourselves, without deviating from the truth of our objectives?.

are there any more quite radical action risk takers within the community here?.

Heres another radical idea

Learn some code..or whatever you wanna call it. And hack the WT site. I know 2 yearz ago a bunch of Albanian hackers hacked some serbian Gov site and sprayed all sorts info over it. They actually reckon the hackers were CIA trained or something...thats what a few serbs reckon...because it was such a neat job.

I'd love to see the WT site filled with all sorts of stuff condemning the WT. Would be good for laugh!

This is the dichotomous aspect of the argument I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. It is not creation vs. evolution, rather, it is any number of creation theor-IES vs. any number of evolution theor-IES. In fact, I could (and do) believe in an aspect of creation AND evolution at the same time!

You lost me?

For me, I accept evolution. The evidence is so overwhelming, despite what creationists say and I use to be one. I'd Condemn evoultion at the drop of a hat. When I studied evolution... I found it depressing. Yeah, Evolution is amazing, it's fascinating...but I find it completely incompatible with a loving God. Evolution is cruel and brutal and a God that would use such a process doesn't really give a damn for me, so may as well not exist.

I cant see how evolution and creation can be compatible really
