  New Library CD Rom

  my active jw wife just asked me to install the new cd rom watchtower library on her computer.

  i was reading the licencing agreement and it stated that it was for jehovahs witnesses only and not for the general public.. why would that be do you suppose?

  i mean if this is such important info wouldn't they want to distribute it as much as possible?

  these are just some thoughts i had when reading the bible yesterday ( yes, i still do that daily, believe it or not.

  my ex and i had an interesting conversation this evening on the phone.

  we ended up talking about dfing and da'ing and i made some comment about her "turning me into the elders for joining the y" and then i stated something to effect that "she's lucky i never said anything to the elders about her and i and what we did before getting married.

  roy, imho, dub life is tough enough. i'd leave well enough alone. who knows, maybe someday she'll see the "light" of what she's involved in and make her own way out.

  The Snow is past my Knees

  here i am in little ol' new jersey.

  it's been snowing for almost 24 hours.

  there's around 2 feet of snow on the ground, and it's not going to stop here up until late tonight.. i'm not going to work until friday.....woohoo!.

  well ashitaka its been snowing since around 8 am here in Rhode Island, and we've got around a foot or so, and no relief in site.

  tommorow is up in the air as far as work, not sure whats gonna happen, but seeing as how we sell service and otherwise with plows and parts.....good lord i think i'll have to make a 55 mile trip in this crap.

  Diminished Morality as Proof???

  today a couple of elders came by and told me that "diminished morality" is proof that those who leave the truth have lost jehovah's favor.

  that is, when they were in the truth, they were all chaste, etc.

  but now that they are out of the truth that they don't hold the same high standards of morality.

  Scorpio

  October 23 - November 21

  Scorpio is the eighth Sign of the Zodiac, and you shouldn't take that lightly. You shouldn'ttake Scorpios lightly, either. Those born under this Sign are dead serious in their mission to learn about others. There's no fluff or chatter for Scorpios, either: these folks will zero in on the essential questions, gleaning the secrets that lie within. Scorpios concern themselves with beginnings and endings, and are unafraid of either; they also travel in a world which is black and white and has little use for gray.   Scorpio is ruled by the Planets Mars and Pluto. Mars was the God of War in ancient Roman mythology and is the first (and most ancient) ruler of Scorpio. When Pluto was discovered in the 20th century, it was also assigned to this Sign. Pluto was known as the God of the Underworld in ancient Roman times, so when coupled with Mars, expect some intense energy to head toward Scorpions here on Earth. This planetary combo makes for people who are motivated, penetrating and aware. Scorpions don't miss much, since they are highly attuned to the vibrations of others.
