  The Generation that saw 1914 will by no means...

  since i don't have a watchtower handy, i'm wondering if someone would help me.. on the inside cover of the wt it used to say something to the effect of the 'purpose of the wt' was to point out that the generation that saw 1914 would not pass away before armegeddon or some such nonsense.. i'm wondering if someone could post the "old purpose" vs. the "new purpose," if any such change exists.. thanks,.

  My first time "storming" out!!

  i "stormed" out of a meeting for the first time in my life tonight.

  well, i really just walked really fast, but inside myself i was storming.

  anybody catch some of the insolent comments made in the 6/01km?

  my take on that meeting was simple.

  we need more drones.

  oh, and you have to give'em credit for the age discrimination.
  who else has the balls to state that in print and get away with it.

  when i first started to look into the teachings of jesus, i went out and bought a couple of books to help me.

  i bought a bible dictionary, and a bible commentary.

  when i looked up " pharisees" in my bible dictionary, it said "see jewish parties".

  you could get rays second book, in search of christian freedom, and read chapter 8, on legalism, and see the comparison he makes to the borg, and pharasees. amazing.

  elders truly believe that they are appointed by gods spirit.

  how about ex-servant? its really amazing. simply amazing. no, i have not felt that god used holy spirit to appoint me as an m.s. that became evident after i saw the church politics when i was a servant. my becoming aware of it, that it wasnt holy spirit, but just men campaining to get who they wanted, in the positions they wanted, subcontiously, i knew it. that and other factors that did not become clear untill very recently, cause this m.s. to resign. that was over 10 years ago. wanna know how many sheparding calls i get to get me back in the ranks? nope, aint fallen for it yet.
