  Is homosexuality wrong?

  i know that the dub's view is that it is totally wrong.

  i live in an area where the majority of people think it is wrong.

  i don't think it is wrong (but i am not a homosexual).

  For me, I think its just not natural to be homosexual.

  However, everytime I meet gay couples, not lesbians, I find I really like them. They are so *not* pretentious, they are so fun, so down to earth, not afraid of the way things are. They get excited at little things.

  I have encountered them in sales and they have always been appreciative of just being "accepted" ..... When I have acknowledged or asked "Is that your mate?" They have seemed to really be pleased that I asked. My store sells large motorhomes so its important to establish a good rapport with them. Regular couples don't seem to have as much fun in life as they do!

  i've been mia for a week now and thought i would share my news with you.. here's is my precious baby girl, born 20 march.. her name is jahkeil.. nothing to do with any religion, just came out that way.. i wanted my child to carry my dad's name (jack).. .

  i know that they say "no rated r movies.

  " and then you go to their homes, see all the "ok for public viewing" titles, then they say, "but the good movies are in our bedroom.

  I know that they say "NO RATED R MOVIES." And then you go to their homes, see all the "ok for public viewing" titles, then they say, "But the good movies are in our bedroom." They hide the R movies.

  The platform says, "no oral sex, its perverted" but then behind closed doors, you hear whispers and advocates of it. Sisters who tell newly married sisters about it.

  The platform and mags say to let your yes mean yes and then for some reason its ok for them to break their word at the drop of a hat and get no criticism or rebuke for it.

  The platform says pay your taxes, and you talk to all the hairstylists and waiters and day care sisters and they all mention their tax free earnings.

  Most of the worldly people I know would not consider this type of behaviour EVER.......yet its commonplace for these ones who consider themselves above reproach!

  why wasn't the woman who washed jesus feet already dead?

  why were prostitutes allowed to live there in jerusalem?.

  Wow! Thread closed, for a minute I thought I was at GC .... yiiiiiikkkkkkeeees!

  We never see Jesus carry out Laws regarding punishment of sinners, rather a refresher and forgiver. The elders who are supposed to imitate Jesus, though, seem to carry out punishment much more easily than refreshing and shepherding.

  df vs disassociation

  can someone provide me some insight or past experience with the pros and cons to disassociating oneself versus getting disfellowshipped?

  The term for ones unbaptized was called "unapproved associate" and they were to be treated just like df'd people and it was announced from the platform.

  They were called "unapproved" as opposed to "approved" because one becomes "approved" at baptism.

  Why wasn't the woman who washed Jesus feet already dead? Why were prostitutes allowed to live there in Jerusalem?

  Why was the woman who had the 12 year flow, who broke the Law, not condemned by Jesus? I am not asking why he was compassionate, but why not rebuke her privately.

  If God's law is perfect and the Mosaic Law was perfect, why was not Tamar, this woman sinner and others who were open sinners not condemned and dealt with according to LAW?

  Even if its true, and 100% accurate, which means libel has not occurred, there is something else that you can be accused of: Invasion of Privacy. This applies to internet postings as well. Here is an example

  In another case, an author described a hijacking from 11 years earlier. The hijacker had begun a normal life and fallen out of public view. Although he could not claim libel because truth is a total defense, he accused the writer of invading his privacy and won the right to sue. So long as the former hijacker did not seek the public spotlight, he was deemed a private person. There was no public interest in revealing his prior life of crime. If there is no vital reason for revealing someone's criminal past, leave it alone.
