We had some Witnesses that were always saying they were stumbled or were concerned that a certain person or family could be a stumbling block. These types always tried to manipulate things so that they could sound righteous and deeply concerned for members of the congregation. One elder used to call them “cause finders”.

If you don’t support a cause that someone deems important, they get offended. Snowflakes abound! Even in the congregation certain people always seemed to get offended by someone or something. They were often filled with righteous indignation or their consciences were bothered because we said or did something that triggered them.

I figured if Mother said something, even if I couldn’t totally understand it, it was correct because Mother knows best. I always had a fascination of the early history of the Watchtower and convinced myself that the light did indeed get brighter and brighter! But way in the back of my head I started to question things. After reading Ray Franz’ books I couldn’t ignore it much longer.

Since the flu shot is supposed to help protect others not just the person taking the shot, do you think everyone should responsibly take a flu shot? By the way, I never have gotten a shot. Am I to be looked down upon since I won’t take the shot? .. and I never get the flu.
