  as you know the bible is a translation from greek and hebrew.

  what would be the biggest errors in the bible?

  and how about the new world translation bible, what errors did they make?.

  Here's a mistake: In talking about a specific event before the transfiguration, Mark 9:2 says: "Accordingly six days later Jesus took Peter and James and John along...". Luke 9:28 says: "...about 8 days after these words he took Peter and John and James..." So the same events are given two different datings.

  an englishman, a german and a frenchman are all in saudi arabia, sharing a smuggled crate of booze when, all of a sudden, saudi police rush in and arrest them.

  the mere possession of alcohol is a severe offence in saudi arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming the booze, they are all sentenced to death!

  however, after many months and with the help of very good lawyers, they are able to successfully appeal their sentences down to life imprisonment.

  i've been puzzled by no attempts to contact me during the three month campaign.

  this afternoon the elders called using a cell phone.

  The elders in my congregation also contacted me regarding a shepparding call. He said..."Since you're inactive and the Society teaching that we should encourage brothers who are inactive...". That got my blood boiling. I know I'm considered inactive, but to tell it to me to my face! I just told him I was too busy at this point in my life and I would get back to him later this summer of fall. And that was the end of that conversation.

  Jack the Ripper

  i heard on the radio that jack the ripper did his grisly murders in england in 1888. that seems so long ago.....yet 1888 is already 9 years after the watchtower first got published.!!!!

  jack the ripper could have bought a subscription!!

  he could have attended meetings and given talks!!!

  Maybe he went on his killing spree after learning the wonderful Bible truths from Pastor Russel: Christ's presence (1874), resurrection of the Holy Ones (1878), end of the world (1914). He probably wanted to get a head start on the angels and start killing the ungodly ones.

  Did you notice in today's Watchtower study article, paragraph 19, the following: "The parties to the new covenant are God and anointed ones. Jesus is the mediator" I'll bet the vast majority if not all the brethren at the meeting today did not grasp the full meaning of these two sentences.
