i notice such an anti-religion sentiment here for a variety of good reasons.

so many bad things have happened in the name of religion.

however, if you could see to it that your group was different, positive, would you like to be involved in such an endeavor?

If I did, it would mean that I had abandoned any attempt at living my life morally and had abdicated any responsibility before a grand Creator to treat others as I would like to be treated.

So, barring any insane power grab on my part, or any attempt to secure a comfortable lifestyle for myself, no, no and NEVER.

Spiritual shepherding work I do, helping the bruised and battered ones of this world as much as I can individually, but I refuse to allow any level of organization to set in. I just do what I can for those that God sends my way, and pray for mercy for my own many shortcomings.

everyone jokes around about male/female relationships, but how many really think women are inferior?

How shortsighted of you. How do you think we can rebuild our economy without a steady supply of cheap oil? Duh. And we get to do the right thing by bringing democracy to an oppressed people.

TraumaHound, your arguments against the war are simply shallow rehashings of the old peacenik squawkings of "war is always wrong". The simple fact is that war is justified on occasion, and this is one of those occasions.

Our way of life in America is at stake - our world power and prestige is on the line. We've been put in the position of defender of all that is Western, and so we shall fulfill that role to the best of our abilities.
