we get new posters every week and at times we lose some posters.
when most "newbies" find this site, they are thrilled to be able to express themselves in a way that they could never in a kingdom hall.

as a kid i would try to pay attention, but i just couldn't hang in there.
if i didn't day dream i was going to go insane.. i used to create scenarios in my mind that i was a jw super hero.
i had a special costume that was partially made of "flubber" that would allow me to bounce all over the auditorium.

I was freaking going insane. For a long time, it was interesting, then when I finally learned everything they had to teach, I would read the Bible instead of paying attention. And then I'd just get up and take walks. And then I'd just leave and come back at the end of the day. I couldn't stand it. It was physically painful to sit there. I kept feeling like the Holy Spirit was actually pushing me out the door. I thought it was because my self-abuse was unforgiveable, but eventually I realized that God wanted me out so that I could get to know Him.
I've always been interested in public speaking, so I would review the speakers critically, grimacing at their mistakes and silently applauding when they actually had something going up there. Some of those speakers, especially the old-school ones, were actually fairly effective. After the generation switch, though, it seemed like a fire died in their eyes.
If only I'd known that all you girls were just as horny as me! I'd have dragged some of you into a bathroom stall and worked on your "presentations". Kegels, eh?

i was scared s**tless.
they tell you all the dangers beforehand and its something like 1:50,000 die and 1:1750 have a serious injury.

How can you properly apologize for screwing up a 15,000 foot skydive? What is the etiquette for an apology of that magnitude? I imagine it would have to be something fairly brief, like AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
Lol! I'm jealous! skydiving is something I've always wanted to do. Now I'm inspired.

Okay, that number is ridiculously high - I cannot fathom how such a number could possibly be real. what is the source of that number.
I mean, yes, a lot of incidents, all RIGHT, but is this number 27 thousand actual different people alive right NOW, or 27 thousand incidents over the last thirty years?

in my current campaign against "e-watchman" i am going to copy tactics i learned from my favorite watchtower studies - posted weekly by blondie.
my urge to do this is caused by what i view as a real danger to those who are escaping the intense mind control of the borg.
e-watchman uses guilt and condemnatory statements in a big way, which could strike those who are feeling guilty about leaving the watchtower anyway.

E-watchman uses guilt and condemnatory statements in a big way, which could strike those who are feeling guilty about leaving the Watchtower anyway. And he uses threats of global annihilation, which could present a special danger to those who have suffered such intimidation their whole lives. In this campaign, I will be responding to things e-watchman says - and prove how his threats are as empty as his promises.
This week, e-watchman reveals what he is really afraid of: being found out!

Presently, I choose to remain anonymous and my local elders do not know about my website. There is really no reason for me to tell them right now. If I thought that making myself known before a local body of elders could somehow resolve the issues and set the truth more squarely before the organization, I would certainty do it. But, no doubt it would merely result in some sort of tribunal and the truth would likely not even be a factor. Besides, what difference would it make if I posted my name on the website anyway? It is all about the truth, isn't it? At this point I consider my anonymity part of being concealed in Christ, as Paul wrote: "For you died, and your life has been hidden with the Christ in union with God. When the Christ, our life, is made manifest, then you also will be made manifest with him in glory." The truth, according to e-watchman, is the important thing. However, he refuses to "put his money where his mouth is" and back up his bold statements with action! He is afraid that such a "tribunal" would have him cast out. Jesus described those who pretend to be one thing and ARE another as wolves in sheep's clothing. What sheep ever needed to hide itself from its "divinely appointed" shepherds? He condemns people like Ray Franz for urging people to LIVE according to their convictions, but e-watchman is apparently content to live a lie, to go door to door (if, indeed, he participates in the ministry) preaching a lie, and to write his true feelings on an anonymous website - and yet dares to dedicate his website to the source of Truth! Beware, e-watchman, when something is dedicated to Jehovah, He always collects. Any website dedicated to his name had better be teaching truth, reliance on God, and love of neighbor. To urge the brothers and sisters to continue living a lie and preaching lies is to "switch bad for good." CZAR |
