The last information I read on it the original KH is still sitting empty and unused. The new one is a few miles away.

...The WBT$ Theft of Kingdom Hall Bank Accounts and JW Elders...
by OUTLAW in.. the new wbt$ donation arrangement/ jw kingdom hall bank account theft... is a very hot topic right now... the wbt$ is literally going to clean out kingdom hall bank accounts, filled with donations from jws... that theft is going to happen world wide..the wbt$ is going to steal from 7 million plus jw`s... .. we have jw elders here on jwn, that know whats going on... they "serve" in kingdom halls, they are "supposed" to be looking after the welfare of the average jw... they know there is a 4 page letter, only one page will be read to the congregation..the rest will be kept secret... they know the wbt$ is about to steal jw donations..on a world wide scale!!!...
.. i would like to know what you active jw elders are going to do about this??!!...
are you going to let "your" congregation know about the other 3 secret pages?...

There are three kinds of people in the world:
1. Those who make things happen
2. Those who watch things happen
3. Those who say, "what happened?"
The vast majority of JWs are #3. They won't realize they've been shaken down (mugged by a corporation) until the money is gone and they are left with nothing but an empty bank account and more disillusionment.
Elders? Some have a conscience and have read all four pages of the letter to their congregations (as reported here on JWN), but most will simply allow themselves and every JW they know to be fleeced by WT. It's all for Jehovah™, don't you know??

To JNJ:
Read how an UNBAPTIZED person who's studying with JWs was treated recently for simply asking questions about WT:
This will give you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into.

jwsurvey.com article that fleshes out the apostate talk
by confusedandalone inhttp://jwsurvey.org/cedars-blog/the-unbaptized-apostate-of-salem-massachusetts.
pretty interesting read.
especially since the one who sparked it is an unbaptized person.

It really reveals the shaky foundation the WT rests on. Their beliefs and policies are so untenable the only way they can exert any control to limit exposure is to use heavy-handed bullying- even against people who aren't even in the religion!
If WT was as confident in their beliefs as they claim, coming from Jehovah™ no less, there'd be no reason for the fear.

WT is so paranoid and intolerant of any scrutiny/questioning it now labels someone who's never been a JW an "apostate".

DCMS, Outlaw and LL - you might be correct about Ms Burkett being a troll
.
Just for the record, I never said JNJ was a troll. I simply pointed out that this person was given some great advice by experienced JWs and he/she summarily dismissed it as invalid.

Midweek Meetings no longer Necessary
by Tech49 ini am sure we have all seen the recent letter to the boe concerning the change that will take place to the meeting arrangement during the week of the co visit.
to recap the basics: the meeting that usually contains the cong bible study (book study) and a co talk will be discontinued, publishers are encouraged to use their family worship night that week to cover book study material.. so here is a point that i think has been missed, or not even considered:.
if that particular meeting is hereby deleted from the schedule, the co and his wife will never ever have to participate in or go to another "book study", or "bible study" night again.

reason given for cancelling one more get-together??? so we can concentrate, not disrupt FAMILY WORSHIP ???
.
So, really, doesn't this mean the WT/Governing Body, as "god's sole channel of communication", was intentionally (or, unconsciously) disrupting Family Worship Night by having that second meeting in place for the CO's visit for decades prior to the change?
.
Doesn't it also mean (by WT dogma) that Jesus, as "Head of the cong." and "CEO" of the WT Organization, wasn't smart enough to see that the meeting schedule He told the GB to create prior to the change was actually damaging the spirituality of millions of JWs? Not to mention the fact that WT had no Family Worship Night- none, zip, zero, nada- for most of its 133 year existence, so if it's damaging to "disrupt" FWN by having a second meeting night during a CO visit, how damaging was it to have no FWN whatsoever???
.
It's a constant mystery to me why Jesus and Jehovah™ specifically tell the WT to do something, and then after decades of time go by, do they realize it was a bad idea, and then effect a change only after the damage is done. Poor Jehovah™....always a day late and a dollar short.

the END is "rapidly approaching"
.
LOL! The "End" is so close....which is why WT is involved in a several-year massive building project in Warwick and is demanding money for "35 Assembly Hall" projects and "13,000" Kingdom Hall projects. Apparently God hasn't gotten the memo that WT has an empire to build.... and God will just have to delay Armageddon for another few centuries.

NSWTG....you still think like a JW. You're entitled to your opinions but please stop trying to steamroll those who see things differently and discounting our view as invalid simply because you disagree.

"The fact you ascert that I haven't seen much in the org is just my point"
> I never said or implied this. Read my post again.
"you post stuff that is not true, even if that has been your experience"
> Ummmm....if I've experienced it personally, then it's true. If you read enough posts here, you'll know my experiences are not unique. The group experience constitutes valid evidence.
.
The point is this, NSWTG: Look at the WT system as a whole. Is it working? Or, is it hopelessly broken? As a whole, do COs/DOs and other "glorious ones" reflect Christ's example? Or, do they instead mimic the religious systems they condemn??
"and again none of this helps those who are just starting out on mentally leaving...So why post that if it doesn't help one bit..."
> You don't know this. Sometimes calling a spade a spade is precisely the wake-up call a JW needs. If a JW visits here and reads my post, and decides WT is where they'll stay no matter what and that I'm a bitter critic, then they weren't ready to leave in the first place, and my statements are irrelevant to their thinking or the decisions they make.
