    They "SERVE" in Kingdom Halls,they are "SUPPOSED" to be looking after the Welfare of the Average JW..

    This makes me so sick! I would love to go picket a KH tonight here in So Cal. I have never wanted to be one of the sign holders but I am so sick of these lying bastards stealing from my in every which way they can.

    They rob them of their time, energy, spirit, potential, and money. They really are nothing but modern day Pharisees.

    I was discussing this today with a brother (former Elder) and I told him that if I was an Elder, I'd tell my fellow Elders that if they were going to comply with the directions in the G.B.'s letter, then they'd do it without my agreement as I would stand down immediately as an Elder.

    It is corrupt, immoral, unChristian, un-Scriptural, and.............as someone suggested, could it be breaking laws on contributions which have been contributed for a specific purpose, namely, to benefit a particular congregation's Kingdom Hall?

    The bottom line is this - many Elders are spineless, and are only interested in preserving the little pedestal which 'Mother' has put them on. They know that they will be booted off it, (like Menlo Park Elders) if they don't bend over backwards to give the cash-transfusion which the Org is demanding!

    I don't see that happening. The money will be going to a "greater good." When the publishers donated, they were giving the money to be used by Jehovah. I don't think there will be any groundswell of dissent at all. The active ones I've spoken to have indicated that they see it as a loving arrangement.
