So Happy to Learn About Homemade Weed Killer
by Iown Mylife inthree days ago we mixed up the recipe and sprayed the driveway cracks and several places where the weeds have been hard to get rid of.. today the weeds are dead just like when we've sprayed commercial weed killer.. mix one gallon white vinegar, 1 cup salt, 5 to 6 tablespoons of dawn dishwashing liquid.
note: don't spray if it's fixin' to rain, wait for dry weather so the stuff will stay on the weeds.
and don't spray where you want anything to grow ever!.

This will be a GREAT organization!
by Kensho inwhen...... 1) we follow christ example not the gb.
2) stop df'ing those for challenging current or past doctrine and allow us to use our god given gift of reason and free wil.
sure kick out the scumbags even the lions club have rules for membership, but not those who just use their brains and consience.. 3) get rid of the nonsensical blood teaching that has cost the lives of thousands and beg god for forgiveness.

Other than the above the R&F JW's are truly self sacrificing, loving, family oriented, honest and yes dare I say it UNITED people
.
The JWs "united" appearance is the natural result of being forced to conform to the totalitarian rulership of the GB. What seems to be a united organization is nothing more than 7,5 million JWs who simply have no other choice than to conform or be ousted.
This also applies to "brotherly love". For the most part, JW "friends" are friends only because you happen to go the the same KH; stop attending meetings for even a short time or express the most innocent dosagreement with the GB, and see how many friends you really have. In JW Land: none.
JWs are "self-sacrificing" only in regards to fulfilling WT's daily/weekly list of mandated tasks. No JWs volunteer to work in soup kitchens or donate to charities. Take a Pioneer off the list and see if they continue to put in Pioneer hours. Without the title to go along with the "self-sacrifice", no JW will expend the effort...ever.
"Family-oriented": humans are family oriented by nature. This is not due to the work of WT. Besides, how "family-oriented" is a family if they'll shun a family member for life based on nothing more than their family member has a different opinion than the WT? Again, the so-called "family-oriented" aspect of JWs, like their "self-sacrifice", 'unification' and "brotherly love" is only superficial. When put to the test to prove its worth, it falls like a house of cards.

Inactive relative defends new donation setup based on word of active relative. Doubts veracity of letters!
by Wasanelder Once inmy sister came to the society's defense on the issue of "pledged amounts" not being accurate because a realative stated that it didn't happen in her congregation.
so i said they were mistaken, and that i had access to the letters proving it.
she doubted that they were authentic.

"Eaten up will be the flesh of those who would not learn that the living and true God is named Jehovah a grammatically impossible fiction created by a 13th century Catholic monk!

kneehigh: This is grade A plausible deniability.
Yet another way to hang the fallout from WT's policies around the neck of elders.
Get rid of DO's, make the CO responsible for appointing elders, then WT takes a hands-off approach to all proceedings as if the elders are solely responsible for anything that goes sideways.

Total worldly people except that kneejerk loyalty?
It's nearly impossible to take the WT out of some people.

What would the band's name be?
"Wormwood"
or, you could have a really beautiful female lead singer and name the band "Thyatira Banks"

Elders answer questions about the changes of the blood ban
by opusdei1972 insome days ago two elders visited my sister because she has not been attending the meetings more than one year.
this time she prepared notes containing watchtower past teachings about the blood ban so as to ask them for those changes, and it seems that the elders were also prepared for her past questions.
for instance she showed them that "albumin" was considered "under scriptural ban" in 1956 (read the page 20 of awake, september 8).

@ 3rdgen: ADCMS, it would be fun to speculate which fornication fraction is forgivable wouldn't it?
.
Why speculate? I suggest a full-on experiment. LOL.

Acts says to "abstain from blood", yet WT has concluded fractions of blood are acceptable.
Acts also says to "abstain from fornication". So how come fractions of fornication are not acceptable?
