  A question for Athiests.

  i am now an athiest myself, but i think being an athiest its a bit like having a faith.

  some get very hooked on it and "preash" others (like me) simply get with with there lifes.

  i am sure that some athiests like to have discussions about the non existence of " god" in a similar way that "thisists" do about the existence of god.

  shouldn't we be killing as many of our neighbors as possible? If the GT hits tomorrow, won't our neighbors die without the hope of a resurrection?!?!

  By WT reasoning, once a person has heard "the Truth", they are now responsible. If they reject WT's message, they are a goat and will be destroyed. So, really, aren't Jehovah's Witnesses doing people a disservice by preaching to them?

  Don't let their kindness fool you...we really must stay focused on the important things here.

  Isn't it interesting how it never occurs to JWs like this that maybe they won't be there either?! The arrogance is astounding.

  i think Sammie has a point, to an outsider the two are not so different....

  Yeah, but since sammie's argument is based on "what if" scenarios involving aliens and bogus statistics, how solid is the foundation?

  .

  Also, using sammie's fantasy scenario, if an 8 year old ISIS jihadi just shot or decapitated a person for real, you could then have them play Nintendo or watch a movie depicting the same thing...then expect them to say the video game/movie was exactly like the real thing. Ridiculous.

  I'm not arguing for or against guns. But, if you are going to argue for or against guns, at least use real numbers.

  I don't know where you got this figure, but it's not even close to being accurate (it's wildly overstated).

  just had a two hour conversation with my father.

  he is insistent that he will be able to enter the kingdom of god as a member of the 'great crowd'.

  he did agree that only the annointed are declared righteous.
