  To add to WT's idiocy, it approves the use of someone else's stored blood for fractions but still bans a JW from storing their own blood for future use!!

  Logically, wouldn't it be safer to you use your own blood for an upcoming surgery/procedure than someone else's? As is usual for WT, their absurd policies actually expose a JW to even more danger than they'd normally be subjected to had WT just stayed out of it.

  please follow the sequence of events connected with a bethel and see what you can conclude!.

  1) when brach committee took a decision like a money-minded corporation, a conscientious bethelite (who is my close friend) wrote to the gb.. 2) gb took the bc into task, and directed bc to reverse its decision in that particular case.. 3) in time bc took revenge on the bethelite and removed his bethel-eldership on fabricated charges.. 4) gb withdraws the very arrangement of bethel eldership from all its branches!.

  5) after one year, bc felt that their revenge was neutralized because of the unexpected withdrawal of bethel-eldership itself, again fabricated charges with the help of false witnesses and dismissed and disfellowshipped that bethelite.. 6) after two years the two bc members who orchestrated all the above events were sent out of bethel in great dishonor, virtually into wilderness ordinary publishers!.

  WT is like any other corporate environment: sharks and piranhas can and do turn on each other quite frequently. It's the nature of the game- when you put a bunch of arrogant, self-serving a**holes in a group, large or small, and the water gets bloodied, there's a continual cycle of purgings, alliances and executions as each jockeys for position.

  i guess it was bound to happen..... just saw a facebook post where the user updated their profile picture to be the blue square jw.org logo.. .

  don't know whether to laugh or cry.

  It probably won't be too long before WT makes one exception that allows tattoos- if a JW wants to get "JW.Org" tattooed on their forehead, WT will call it part of their 'sacred service'.

  oh wow..... the public talk today is certainly embarrassing for witnesses!.

  started (completely left field too...seemed to come out of nowhere) with condemning homosexuality, and anyone who even tolerates it.

  if you like tv shows or movies with gay characters, you are "just as bad" (eg modern family tv show).

  charles taze russell was chosen by god jehovah to reveal to mankind the way to salvation in this time of the end.. charles taze russell embarks on a public speaking program that takes him all over the world with him giving lectures in many countrys .. my question to jehovahs witnesses : was that holy spirit , inspired revelations that he gave ?

  was that new light from jehovah ?

  new truths ?.

  If history operated under the same mindset as WT, it would exclaim that when people thought the earth was flat and the Sun revolved around it, they were absolutely correct. The modern view that the earth is a sphere and, in fact, the earth revolves around the Sun, does not nullify the old view but is merely an "adjustment" (new light) of the previous view. Both views are true, and proof that no matter how much things change, humans were right all along.

  The other important factor to look at is the source of WT's argument that a transfusion constitutes the "eating" of blood. W 4-15-85, p.13, quotes WT's source: Frenchman Denys...of the 17th century!

  WT cannot find a single modern authority to support its view, so it does the classic WT move of finding any source from any century, no matter the level of ignorance of that century, as validation of the legitimacy of its stance.

  i find it fascinating to see how quickly the society has about faced on the use of the internet.

  interestingly they still have not adopted two way communication channels such as facebook, twitter, instagram.

  etc.. if you are lurking....why do you think that is?
