Did you ever sacrifce it all for a building project only to be left with nothing after your "spiritual high"?
It's called being a JW...and the experience isn't limited only to building projects.
talking about an article that makes you want to throw-up in your mouth- wt-study jan 15, 2015 the offered themselves willingly.. amazing the psych job of selling your business, moving your entire family, quiting your job to be a "temporary" worker at the new world headquarters!.
throw your livelyhood away only to get the "feeling" that jehovahs is blessing you!
i wish there was away to track the psych job during patterson and other major projects of what happened to all the "friends" that sold and got rid of their livelyhood then and where are they now.. did you ever sacrifce it all for a building project only to be left with nothing after your "spiritual high"?.

my dad used to say that joan collins was a "poor man's elizabeth taylor.
" inow know what he meant.. well, this weekend i spent some time watching a bit of jw broadcasting and the mormon channel on roku.
after watching samples of both, i can say that the jw's are a poor man's mormon.
I can say that the JW's are a poor man's Mormon. Especially if you compare the JW GB 8 to the Mormon Elders/Quorum of 12. The Mormon leaders are so much better in their speaking abilities, the way they dress
Amazing what an education will do for a person. I think Mormon beliefs are as goofy as the JW's, but at least Mormon teachings don't hamstring a person for life by telling them not to attend college and make something of themselves.
...apart from door knocking, meetings and kingdom melodies?.

He made blood and now hates it. What a prize pillock he is.
He invented a woman's period...then declares her "unclean" when she actually experiences it.
He invented sex...but hates everything about it and thinks it's a sin.
He invented death...then has the audacity to call it man's "enemy". Ya think? In fact, god likes death, demands it through sacrifice.
He allegedly wants humans to work together in harmony...then gets pissed when they do (Tower of Babel).

...apart from Door Knocking, Meetings and Kingdom Melodies?
Well, considering that door knocking has been minimized in favor of literature carts and JW Org booths, apparently Jehovah™ doesn't like D to D that much.
Meetings have been cut back considerably compared to just a few years ago, so apparentlty Jehovah™ doesn't like meetings much either.
Kingdumb Maladies were changed a few years ago and changed again just recently; apparently Jeohovah™ doesn't like his own tunes very much.
And, by extension, I think Jehovah's™ general hate, angst and disgust with everything he's created is merely a projection of his own self-loathing.
So to answer your question: no, there isn't anything Jehovah™ doesn't hate.
i don't know if this question has been asked before,.
but, in any case,.
based on the comments of the governing body, at various conventions, annual meetings , info-mmercials, etcetara, etcetara, etcetera, [ i loved yule brenner in the king and i],.
A total of 250 divided by 7.
the recent circuit assembly day cost get this... $17,0000 in an assembly hall that they own!
this was announced during the assmbly at the 3/4 mark of days activities.
after he said how much the assembly cost, he then proceeded to say that we have recieved $6,000 in donations up to this point of the day.
Vidiot: That's a 500% profit. Man, I'm in the wrong line of work.
All you have to do is sell your soul, Vidiot.
gods kingdom rules!
the convention book released yesterday....say hi to group 2 of the 1914 generation!!
a graph shows group 1 being fred franz john barr etc...with a group 2 consisting of the current young faithful slaves we "met" the "group ones.
punkofnice: What makes me sad is how the R&F will believe this nonsense without thinking about it seriously.
Punkie- thinking seriously about WT doctrine always leads to trouble. JWs have to have a good sense of humor (and no common sense) in order to remain a JW. Stupid is as stupid does.
several years ago, i was studying the bible (jw literature) with an ms from the local congregation.
i happened to mention that i had several pen pals who were incarcerated in various prisons.
no matter what crimes they committed, i said i saw them as fellow human being who deserved to have a friend to write to.
an Elder in a former congregation didn't believe in doing anything to help inmates because 'They are in there for a reason'.
Yet if WT can gain converts by exploiting their situation, it has no problem sending JWs to preach to prisoners.
from a jw site.. .. a nice little corner for the young ones at the central america bethel branch in mexico.. .. .. .

Gorbatchov: My respect for the Wachtower is growing more and more. They made a plan to soften the sharp religion.
As long as WT continues to preach death to billions of non-JWs at Armageddon (and lately the idea that most JWs won't survive is growing among JWs themselves), has a harsh disfellowshipping policy, uses harsh Judicial Committees which violate basic rights to enforce conformity, has no financial transparency to its members, bans blood transfusions, has no charities, etc, I don't know how WT can be considered as 'softening'.
You can candycoat a turd...but it's still a turd.
As far as the "children's section" pictured above, all I have to say is this:
"It has been found that the best way to insure implicit obedience is to commence tyranny in the nursery." -Benjamin Disraeli, British Prime Minister
.
Notice the picture that's supposed to be "fun" for kids is of Caleb going door to door. That's not fun...it's pure indoctrination.
