being the computer illiterate that i am, i would appreciate any help, putting my photo up.

i registered with strike9.com, but don't know how to get my photo from a digital camera onto the jw site, with the correct size and everything.

since strike9 doesn't have a help section maybe someone could explain to me how it all works.. can anyone help me, please?

i found this site accidently i guess.

i have been away from the truth for a while now...6 years... yet it always permeates my mind somehow and i fear the events happening in the world, and wonder.... i guess my problem was that i hated going out door to door as a child.. somehow i hated invading other people's privacy and felt wrong somehow, or embarrased, or just plain hated it period.

i think that is the biggest thing that keeps me away from ever returning.. somehow i, in my small mind cannot understand why small children should do such a thing until they are old enough to at least have a say in it.. like an opinion??

as you have admitted, the watch tower bible & tract society did join the united nations as a non government organization in 1992 ending in 2001, and according to the following watch tower this means that by their own actions they disassociated them selves from jehovahs organization which means that we must treat them like disfellowshiped ones.

in other words they are no longer jehovahs witnesses or have any right to that name.

Great thread! I love to see someone try to support the WTS support of the UN. If a JW renounces his neutrality by voting in a political referendum then so does the GB by signing a doc that they support the ideals of the UN. That is unless God gave them authority to do so because he wanted all this scandal to break loose so his name could be dragged through the mud some more. To think that God approved of their actions is highly ludicrous unless he allowed it to happen so all could see the futility of putting your trust in earthling man or in nobles. That is exactly what jws are supposed to do, put their trust in the GB as Gods mouthpiece. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. He didn't say to his disciples; find the GB, listen to them and they will give you life.

If he did I must have missed that scripture.

first time i have ever seen or heard of this but no one was baptized with 800+ in attendance at our circuit assembly two weeks back!

It begs the question "would Jesus have done this in the face of such poor results?" I think most witnesses haven't even opened their eyes to the possibility that the door to door work isn't working.

Lot still preached and so did Noah. Just a thought.
