  Will Jehovah...

  when jehovah brings armageddon, will he let me live long enough to witness the deaths of my children and grand children because they didn't believe in him?

  .

  since i've faded and i don't promote worshiping him anymore, i am just wondering.. at least i'd know for sure what kind of god he is?.

  There are natural bonsai plants in nature such as on mountain cliffs or valleys with little rainfall. The harsh elements of rain, ice, snow and wind shape them and prevent them from reaching mature size. The majority of these trees die off long before reaching bonsai-like shapes. Bonsai enthusiasts merely try to mimic the harshness of nature when shaping and pruning their plants. Anything that you see in the natural world which is beautiful exists mainly because of luck and a good survival instinct. Their fate is not decided by some celestial being, but by pure circumstance, adaptation and luck. I don't see a loving creator in any of it.

  Watching the Rio Olympics? What's your sporting interest?

  i haven`t seen much if anything on the rio olympic games on this forum , i can`t believe their is so little interest in such a sporting event that is televised world wide.. i don`t get to watch everything , but events i do like to see when i can are,track and field ,gymnastics ,swimming , diving ,and their are a few other sports i will watch when they are on , especially if an australian is involved.. how about you ?

  whats your favourite sport to watch ?.

  has the "drug" issue affected your view of the games ?

  And yet we have these marauder ants that exist for the sole purpose of invading other colonies and other species of weaker ants. I wonder who created them to be like that? The universe rejects your ant farm analogy and flushes it down the toilet.

  gorby is as you know a long time fader.. visited the convention this weekend.. and concluded that samuel herds talk about hope was not so bad at all, it was well balanced.

  made some good points.. knowing both sides of the medallion, have to admit he was humble with a focus on hope.. the saturday drama impressed me.

  of course, there is a lot to say about the organization, this professional produced movie in a "true story" scenario, gave me the insight that hope is important for suffering people.

  Hope without works is dead. Going out and actually helping people and doing constructive things as opposed to sitting in a convention center or peddling literature will fill you with meaning and good feelings. There is more to life than what Samuel can offer, which is serve us, help us expand our religious empire and maybe god will reward you for it. Life is short. How much time will you spend sitting in the horse cart looking at that carrot being dangled ever tantalizingly close to you?

  Half Banana, I live in Japan. We have ten varieties of swallowtail butterflies that range in or around my area. I plant flowers and plants that attract butterflies to come and get nectar in my garden and also to lay their eggs on the host plants that their caterpillars rely on. As a Japanese garden enthusiast and amateur designer myself, I can tell you, a landscape designer, would love Japan and all the complex yet simple garden styles they have to offer. Come visit and you will be inspired! You'll see landscape designing and maximizing each small space in ways you've never imagined.
  

  TWOY, 4,000 species? That's incredible! I need to visit Austria some day. All those mountain/ski resorts are devastating our alpine/sub-alpine species.

  so my mam visited today.

  she recently went to convention in north east england, newcastle i think they still have them at.

  before she left she said (this is her exact words btw) "you have put me in a difficult position and i can't come to see you anymore".. she told me that as i live with my partner and we are unmarried that she can't visit anymore.

  i have been df'd for 9yrs as of july 31 (yay me!).

  so as i have written about previously in other posts, my whole family (parents + sister) made the choice to treat me as if i do not exist, and i have accepted it.

  last summer they made a blatant show of it as our family reunion, in that they would walk right by me and not say one word...prompting our extended family to question their actions.

  Friends, it is to be regretted that we regretfully must announce to you that we have been denounced by Jehovah. Over the years we have instituted certain policies that we felt were a protection for the flock, but in fact, they were Pharisaical measures taken because we didn't have enough faith in god's holy spirit. We set up a large volume of rules as a guide for the brotherhood to keep their morality and integrity. As a result, we have broken up families needlessly. We have indirectly protected pedophiles from prosecution. We have caused needless mental distress and even suicides to occur because of our cold-hearted, over-the-top policies and actions towards those who have fallen into an immoral course.

  Many of our young ones have left God's organization because we failed to show them the true Christian love that Jesus exemplified when he held them in his lap. We have turned people away from jehovah - even scared people away from Jehovah - because of our greed and desire to control every aspect of our believer's lives.

  We have become unduly obsessed with numbers and appearances and Jehovah is not happy. In our flaming zeal to expand our religious empire we put Jehovah in second place. He has indicated to us in an indirectly direct way that the potential privilege of being his FDS is no longer possible and he will now shift his attention to a more humble, less greedy organization yet to be determined.

  Dear brothers and sisters, it has been brought to our attention through a third party that Jehovah is angry with us for having never apologized for any of our errant ways. We have never apologized for the pain. undue suffering and unnecessary anxiety we have brought upon our deer sheep. we sincerely and humbly live for the day when we will be elevated to the highly coveted status of F.D.S. So with that mission in mind, we do not give up! In fact, we are willing to do something unprecedented! We are willing to apologize to you! We're sorry. WE ARE SO VERY SORRY! In the bible seven emphasizes completeness so we will throw in an extra five sorries: Sorry, sorry, sorry sorry and sorry.

  Are we not happy and does not our heart swell with affection towards those of us who are taking the lead in humbly apologizing for our errors? Let us wait on Jehovah and continue to serve under the leadership of your humbly contrite Governing body.
