  Global Cooling

  so if i send money to al gore to pay for carbon credits, will it warm up the 30 degree temperature outside today?

  pearly on years ago when i realized a few people and organizations were using junk science as away to build a cottage industry of money making and taxing, i knew it was a hoax.

  then when the data came back to show the earth has been cooling instead of warming, the con artists changed the label from global warming to climate change.. believe what you want to, i don't care, but blind allegiance to the gw idea is so similar to jw belief in my mind, blind!.

  200 yrs ago. The river Thames in London used to actually freeze over. winter fairs were held on the frozen weather. Not happening today.

  I do recall snow was common everywinter in U.K and Ireland. Not happening thees days.

  2009 was an abnormally siberian cold winter.

  2012 was an abnormally wet YEAR. Continuos rain. (knock on effect to food production, farming, livestock etc.)

  2013 april - coldest on record. (knock on effect to food production, grass growth, farming etc )

  Do these examples constitute extreme weather. ?

  Compare glaciers today with where they were in the 70's (courteous of Attenborough)

  Who has experienced a REAL demonic incident?

  has anybody here experienced a bonafide, real, true incident in whicy 'demons' actually interacted with you or did something 'supernatural' that left you convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that satan and his demons exist??.

  I used to suffer bad nightmares as a child. I have learnt from you guys the terminology of these things. Night terrors. Seemingly they are not just bad dreams, but physically active dreams.

  I now know my nightmares were what you call night terrors. they were very bad, very scary physically active sessions.

  We were not brought up religious or any of that crap, so has no relevance on the unexplained nightmares.

  My sister actually saw our dead grandmother in the room standing at the end of the bed. The woman had been dead for years, none of us ever met her. when sister described what happened, description fitted dead G'ma. really weird.

  ( I know it wasn't G'ma, I don't believe in any of that crap neither. But I do think there are spirits on the earth. Not of actual dead people. )

  What about the haunting in Conneticut ?

  this urban legend/anecdote was on the facebook page of a jw who is a facebook friend of mine.

  it's kind of long but tell us what you think....it was all i could do to stop myself from making a snarky comment.

  a young couple very much wanted to have a family, but his wife could not conceive, so they decided to adopt a baby.

  joe unfortunately they are blinded to the truth about the organisation.

  Yes like a bad marriage. Is it really worth wasting your life on it though being unhappy.

  Don't know your age or details so don't want to presume your not happy. But I think if you were, you wouldn't be here.

  It took me a long time to stop wasting anymore time (my life) being in a 'bad' (not really bad, bad - just the wrong person ). The cost was heavy. nearly destroyed me. But now I am happy. Life is richer, brighter, fuller.

  It's not easy by all means.

  One day at a time buddy.

  I thought History actually teaches Jesus was an actual man that existed and walked the earth ? Is History wrong or has it been changed.

  Take away morals and laws from society and see how fast it degenerates without the controlling force keeping things in order.

  Errors concerning people lives are a little bit different to errors with computer glitches.

  What campaign's- flipping the bird outside kingdome hall - nice.

  Threatening behaviour - nice.

  To minimise the damage caused by them and their actions/behaviour is to condone.
