  i like learning about whats going on in the world.

  but i tire of having to scan news outlets like npr, cnn and fox in order to figure out reality.

  what news organization(s) do you use to learn about whats going on in the world?

  When did the Last Days start in the first century

  i've been reading coc and rf highlights that luke 21:28 says: "but as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift your heads up, because your deliverance is getting near.".

  i'm thinking on how no one who saw the start of these things is alive from 1914. as a comparison point, does anyone know when the wt suggests the last days started in the first century?.

  was it when jesus said the above?.

  have you looked into or have any info, relevent, on Hitler, Aryanism, age of Aquarius etc... new Age, the Occult. ?

  Reading a book and it hits on some good things. It all ties in with 'the world'.

  Watched an interesting utube clip this morning regarding 'je-hovah''.

  Apparently it hails from Germany originally, and first appeared in the English in William Tyndales translation of '' The 5 books of Moses, published in 1530 in Germany.

  It is hotly debated if YHVH of YHWH is correct rendition of the tetragrammatron, and the true meaning.

  The clip talks about IDEOGRAM's. and gives the 'meaning' of the words.

  Yud = hand

  Hey = behold or look

  Wah = nail.

  ''behold the hand, behold the nail''.

  Interesting stuff.

  no, i'm not misquoting peter talking to jesus again, or relating a conversation i had with a jw.. i'm asking something a little different.. i began my fade in jan this year and completed it at the memorial on 26th march.

  since learning ttatt and becoming mentally free, my depression has improved, i see colours better, and my anxiety issues have dissolved.

  i returned to teaching high school after years away from it, and am a substitute teacher at some local schools.

  Hey Julia

  so sorry your going through a 'toughie' at the moment. It bums, ya think your out of the woods, and all so excited and happyfied, then ya start going down, and it gets scary, like standing on the edge of the abyss, looking in, trying not to slide, cos ya know whats down there, and it is scary.

  Just 'breathe', take it slow, don't stress and continue with your own bits of 'personal research', it is hard to dig deep and stand tall, I too sometimes just cannot, 'deal' with people, and I need to 'retreat'.

  You must keep your focus hun, you are only out a few months !! after how many years ?? gosh, your doing so well, really. It takes time to untangle the 'mess', mentally, emotionally and physically. Don't be hard on yourself. Enjoy your summer and just relax a while, it is a process, it takes time, enrgy and effort, but your getting there, you are so much happier, life is so much better, focus on all the good things.

  I find it handy to have note books I have made, and I go back over them periodically if needed. Keeps the mind focused, keeps the 'clutter' out.

  also, you know that jehovah is not God's real name and identity, perhaps you could do more research on that.

  check out New Age, Hitler and Aryanism. Fascinating. Oh and ''MAITREYA''. it will really open your eyes and answer a lot of hidden thoughts.

  being very interested in psychology i read a book as a teenager and re-read it last year called " gestalt therapy verbatim " by frederick perls m.d.

  ph, d. .

  it deals with dreamwork therapy in which he conducted seminars helping people to re-connect with subconscious parts of themselves by recounting their dreams .

  Flipper - update ..... still happy dude, wow, it is amazing.

  I used to think, how do people do it ? every day, no matter what they are going through, they are always, nice, smiley, chirpy, kind,

  (most, not all, there are a lot of shites out there ).

  and now here I am, and i am doing it. I'm not as stressed, not as wound up, not worrying ( i never used to be a worrier though, lol )

  The dreams are still in the background, still can't grasp them, no more 'night sweats' though.

  This site, and everyone on it, has helped me so much to 'unlock' a lot of things.

  I have learned so much, I will always be so grateful for this site, and all the people here, who dedicate their time and efforts to helping others.

  I may be 'bi-polar' and I think I am one of the Austistic Spectrum disorders. My energy is returning, and I feel great. I'm calmer, less 'angry'.

  i am dealing with a lot of 'missed' memories, holes, from my childhood, i know i had a 'toxic' life, (non jw upbringing) and a 'toxic' marriage.

  I'm off on a break for 2 weeks, really excited, a much needed break, happy days, chat you soon.

  bha welcomes new eu guidelines on freedom of religion and belief.

  the british humanist association (bha) and the european humanist federation (ehf) have welcomed the new guidelines.. the new guidelines, adopted by the council of foreign affairs ministers of the eu, aim to help the eu to promote freedom of religion and belief in countries outside the eu, and to take action on violations of this right.

  they protect the non-religious as well as the religious.

  it is work that gives more evidence to support the fact of evolution.

  a team of swedish scientists led by evolutionary geneticist erik axelsson from uppsala university have identified genetic changes that could have been responsible for the transformation of wild wolves, into the ancestors of our beloved pet dogs.

  Depression & natural ways to deal with it

  i was on prozac for about 10 years, and finally went off all meds about 18 months ago.

  the prozac was causing me to have manic episodes, so they added a bipolar medicine as well as a sleep aid, and the bipolar medicine made me dizzy & nauseaus.

  so now i work really hard at exercising regularly, i take a lot of natural supplements including natural lithium & megadoses of omega upon advice of a homeopathic doctor.

  I just went to the doctor yesterday for sleeping tablets and xanax (which they will only give sparingly

  - I guess they worry about dependancy)

  He's lowered my dose of Lustral down from 150 to 100. I have to go back to him in 3 days (check in and monitor)

  I'm having a manic episode, since bout 5 days now, sleep totally mucked up, me, all over the place,

  mega energised, bursting at the seams. not sleeping right, driving me a bit batty now, frustrating, I hate my sleep deing disruped, haunting the house like a ghost. passing time.

  I hope it sttle back down again reall soon, too much, too much energy, too much 'happy' too many senses,

  working overtime. It's like being caught up in a whirl wind.

  Crazy, on the one hand, bursting with energy, want to go, go, go, then also, so tired, want to sleep, sleep sleep.

  So i think I am facing the realiy now, that i am probably definitely bi-polar.

  Probably have one of the ASD's too. will have to get tested.

  Nostalgia for Family Past

  there's a conservative element that is yearning for an ideal that never was; the nuclear family with mom in the kitchen, pop putting in his 9 to 5, and two-and-a-half children.. .

  the closest america got to hitting this "ideal" was in the fifties.

  families move out in to suburbia, college-educated women set aside career ambitions in search of domestic bliss.

  Man generally man be 'physically' 'stronger' but i would say that women are the 'stronger' sex, not the weaker, man is the weaker one,

  that is why they have structured our society how they have, man tries to 'control' what he 'fears' in his inadequacies.

  Women are 'stronger' mentally and emotionally.

  IMO
