  Proof of Noah's Flood - Presently watching a Documentary about Europe & the Ice Age

  first time i ever heard anyone say there was 'proof' of noah's flood.. very interesting,.

  showed a trawler, where the team dredges regularly in the north sea - for animal bones, massive land animal bones, mammoths.. he said, originally, the bones were sent for analysis, and the dr stated, they were proof of noah's flood.. the north sea area was a land mass of dry grazing lands.

  and it was very similar to africa.. many bones were found in london, of lions, hippos, etc ... when they were digging out the underground.. .

  Look again at the picture of the rock.

  It looks like a vertical midsection of rock, and it looks twisted and gnarled rather than layered. to me, layered is one on top of another.

  As I have a very active life to live at the moment, so not much time for sitting in front of pc all day.

  How juvenile and derogatory of you. Does it make you feel good to assume a fake personna and insult and mock and ridicule people ?

  Rather than allow people the opportunity to engage in their thoughts and discussions on the subjects that were

  'hammered into them' from an young age' you would rather stifle discussion ?

  That in itself is actually telling. It is the kind of quality we find in controllers and bullies. More constraints of the kind of environment that spwans and controls jws.

  You would deny discussion, unless it fits with your ideas and you higher learning of education adn intellect ?

  so this morning i was thinking about a few things that hit me like a ton of bricks:.

  1. god destroyed the entire earth because man was evil - yet right after he destroyed them for being evil he said that he will never destroy all of manking again because the are evil.... 2. god asked noah to bring two of every kind on the ark.

  then he gets off the ark and sacrifices some of these animals.

  i constantly read that having faith is the answer to knowing that god (or in most cases, jesus) exists.

  but to me it's quite clear there are serious difficulties in believing the bible.. adam and eve.

  Tell that to the Dodo, which was slaughtered enmasse, and the Barbary Lion, just 2 examples.

  Extinction of a species due to adverse changes in living conditions in the natural environment and food supply is one thing, mass extinction at the hands of ignorant men is quite another.

  eg the Bee's, the Northern American Wolves, the American Bison, the African Elephants, the magnificent Mountain Gorilla's, the White and Black Rhino, the Snow Leopard etc are just a few examples of some of the present endangered species.

  The Bizarre Free Will

  two years before i left jw world i came to a strange conclusion about the jw cosmology and the free will doctrine.. basically i came to conclusion that satan is right about the universal sovereign issue.

  and i came with that just only using jws premises, no outside apostasy.

  i just told to my sister what she thought about it, and she said to me: dont tell anyone about this!.

  John - I wonder if maybe you are blinded by the ignorance that WT teaches.

  Having your views based on your own opinion is one thing, putting forth those views as facts, is quite another thing entirely.

  If you haven't already, I suggest you step outside the WT 'box' and begin an earnest search for your queries and questions.

  I disagree with many of your 'formed opinions'. they appear to be without basis, until you use 'scripture' and quote references and sources, well, pretty much, at the end of the day, it is just your 'opinion' and without substance or foundation, opinions are worth nothing, and have no merit.

  My understanding is - without checking scripture - God actually said he would not destroy the EARTH again.

  What is so special and important about mankind that God should make them promises of 'protection'.

  Mankind is responsible of many heinous barbaric acts towards each other, the animal kingdom, and the earth itself.

  What is so special about mankind ?

  Why should he receive divine protection or rights ?

  Man has made many species of animals extinct, why should not man face his own extinction, by his own hand,

  the same as he has executed against 'creation'.

  You have written lots of questions, why you think they are relevent to the discussion I cannot fathom, instead of asking everyone else questions, why don't you explain it in your own words.

  Also, you did not give a basic explanation for the one question I asked.

  Instead, as usual, you use ridicule, and take the intellectual higher ground, which, by the way, you have basically, by the sound of things so far, plaguerised from others who have done their own work and research, and have come to their own conclusions on given subjects.

  Really, am I to believe the word of someone, anyone, who has never done any field research, of their own, and quite possibly has no hands on real experience of these things. (no offence my dear)
