does anybody else out there in apostaland like the 70's music, esspecially the disco era?

i used to be a dj back in the day.

i worked at a rollerskating rink when disco was king and did private gigs as well.

I started watching B&B again after they brought Taylor back. I so hope she takes up with Hector. Brooke is still a slut. Why does she continue to sleep with her daughter's husbands.

Saw an interesting license plate tonight

i only got a quick glance at it but it said or very similar to jw4evr.. i would bet my last dollar that it was a dub.

it was even a 4 door car.

maybe i should get apostate when my tag comes up for renewal in a few months.

What will it be like when I finally D'A MYSELF?

i have the feeling that 2006 will be that year.

i finally told my brother about my feelings toward the wt (he was never baptized) and i'm still waiting for him to respond through email.

how do you mentally prepare for it?

No way would I write a letter of DA or agree to meet with them. Live your life and if they want to df you they will find a reason one way or the other. Until then at least you can still maintain contact with your family if that is your desire.

what did you do with your literature when you left?

i burned my literature except for the wt cd which i sold on ebay.

i did not want to just throw the literature away as i did not want the trash man to read it and become a witness.

I have the 2003 CD somewhere that I got from an xjw friend. Any other jw related material I left at my moms when I moved out at 18.

......for those of you who have family that still speaks to you on occasion, does it seem that they are always trying to update you on goings-on in the congregation?

my grandma, every time she calls (which isn't often), likes to say "brother or sister so-and-so were asking about you the other day".

or "brother so-and-so got disfellowshipped".

my mom called me a couple of days ago to tell me that one of my old jw friends was df'd for witch craft. I asked her if that was all she wanted to tell me and there was silence. she asked me if i knew and I said i'd know for years and that she did not worship satan. mom then asked me if I ever practiced witch craft. i was like good bye.

At what age did you start driving a car?

i always was fascinated with cars and driving.

when i was a child going to school, often i sat in the front seat, just to look at the bus driver change gears, press on the clutch and just by looking at the way he did it helped me when i drove my first manual transmission car.. here is a picture of my first car.

I got my Learner's permit ( someone over the age of 18 has to be present while you drove) at 15 1/2 and was driving on my own at 16. I stared at my drivers license for hours after I got it. I was so happy.
