I considered pursuing a relationship with a very close friend of mine who is an xjw. There was a period of time where my feelings for him went beyond friendship. I really went back and forth with it. The more I thought about it I realized it was not a good idea. I came to the conclusion that our major bond was our jw past (left the dubs together). You need more than that for a relationship. If the only thing you have in common is being an xjw then I would not pursue it. Looking back I know I made the right decision. We are still great friends.

I use to work 12 hour days seven days a week. Now I work 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week. I also use all my vacation time now. At one point I had accumulated 2 months vacation time. I will quit work before I go back to working 7 days a week 12 hour days. It is just not worth it no matter how much money they throw at me. A person needs their down time.

I've gone to the KH for a funeral and 2 weddings in the last few years. I suffered no trauma from attending and only served to remind me of why I left.

How do you know if she likes you, I mean really likes you?

If she is inviting you to a group event I would not read too much into it. If she goes out of her way to talk to you more so than the others at the football game then she may dig you. Only time will tell.

Did Leaving the Organization Make you Feel *Alive*?
by Mysterious indid you have moments after you left the organization when you felt alive for the first time?
when you realized that you had just been drudging around with your head down, enduring rather than living.
when that huge burden was lifted from your shoulders and you saw the world not for the place of darkness and pain that the witnesses made it out to be but for all the wonder in it?

My mom's elder husband told us that those who leave the organization happy are drunk with rebellion and will one day sober up and will have no choice but to see the error of their ways. My brother told him to stop talking out of his ass and then held up his glass of milk and said cheers.

Why does LOVE hurt so bad ?
by oldflame ini am a 45 year old man who has lived a single life for so long, for too long.
i have dated several in the past few years andhave got serious a time or two.
but it never fails when someone comes along that really trips your trigger, you fall so hard for someone who really fits your wants needs and desires in everyway a man could want and then it happens.

I think jaguarbass meant OF keeps on falling for the wrong women and did not mean he had a defective pecker.
Some women are just cannot break free of abusers. My sister was married to the biggest peice of human shit. He beat her, did drugs, took all their money. You name it that peice of trash did it. She went back to him 3 times. Finally after 7 years she had enough. She looks back now and wonders what the hell she was thinking.

My marriage is over because Jehovah was not the third string

I was wondering what happened. Don't let them get you down. Your husband cannot stop the divorce. We live in a no fault state. If I were you I would not get into any long drawn out conversation with them. It will only get you down. IMO the best thing you can do for yourself is to be happy and not give those losers a second thought.

Sort of morbid question
by unbeliever inthis came to my mind after i read 24k's would you go back thread.
just say when armageddon came jehovah gave you one last chance to repent of your apostate ways and live for eternity with jw's.
would you take jehovah up on this offer or ask him to strike you dead?
