garybuss idea is a good one. a lawyer can write one for $25-$50. after being sent the letter and they still bother you that is grounds for a RO. also a lot of the time the court makes the defendant pay all court costs of you succeed in getting a RO to stick.

Has anyone gotten a restraining order on elders??
by mzliz inhere's the story,.
been "inactive" for 2.5 years.from that day forward my elder brother, sister and parents have treated me as an apostate, seeing how i told them i didn't believe in their bible or god.
i have been exluded from everything but since getting pregnant, my parents now want to be part of the babies life (just to "save" the child i'm sure, but thats what monitors are for).

Hello all here's an update.
by Es inhello all, missed you all lots.. thought id pop on and update you, well bubs has missed both of her due dates, im as big as a whale and looking forward to having it all over.
i go into hosp today for my last app where i will be booked in for inducement, seeings tho she doesnt want to make her appearance at all.. ive been in and out of hosp with health problems, and those braxton hicks well they hurt like hell and made me think i was in labour more than once.
but at least i get a date today which should be in the next few days i will be holding my baby girl.. hope you are all well.

Hi Es. I am glad I read this thread. I am due Fri Nov 17th. I am ready for this baby to come out like yesterday. I have had an easy pregnancy but I so do not like being pregnant. Babies never arrive on time in my family but I told my doctor I want to induce Sunday if the baby does not come Friday. I want to be home in time for TG.

the pay is not going to be that good to begin with, but i have mitigating factors, my son who is a junior this year, can get in and i won't have to pay a dime towards his tuition.
his dream is to go to usc and to play for the usc marching band.

My cousin was very critical of a car his parents got him. He wanted a truck. He did not act as bad but he made it known he was not at all happy with the gift. His parents sold the car and told him if he wanted his own vehicle he would have to pay for it himself. He was so angry he did not speak to them for 2 months. Still he got over it and it was a good lesson for him to learn.

i was curious as to where jw's take their breaks today and what times they stop for one.

I just wanted to post an update. I spoke to my brother today and he has been given the go ahead by our bank and his lawyer to refinance the house. Before we sign on the dotted line he told mom he needed to know what she was going to do with her good for nothing step children and husband. When she did not answer he told her he wanted them (stepfather and stepchildren) out of "his" house by the end of the month. Mom called me all in a panic that she can't throw her husband out. I got my brother to back off on that. I don't think its our place to put pressure on her to get a divorce now that I have calmed down and had time to think about it. He told me that he wants to know if I will back him up in the future and was mad I did not tell mom to get a divorce. I am all for throwing the step siblings out though. Mom said she would do that. I told her when they are gone we will refinance. We'll see what happens.

Do Your Medical Records Still Say That You Are A Jehovah's Witness?

a routine follow up review appointment was my opportunity to place a 'living will" in my records .
the doctor said "you are a jehovahs witness aren't you" .

I left the borg b4 I was 18 so this is not an issue for me. I have made it clear to my doctor that I do not want my mom making medical decisions for me. I have listed 3 different people who can make medical decisions for me and will see to it I get blood if necessary.

I've had dubs tell me there is noway a former witness can truly be happy in the world. I was not going to try and convince him I was happy. It would be futile but I did tell him I am sure a lot happier out of the witness that I was as one. The look on his face was priceless.
