DEAR NICKEY...... PLEASE LISTEN TOME ,,,,, I HAVE A 22 YR OLD SON WHO IS IN PRISON RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF THE BIZARRE BEHAVIOUR THAT STARTED WHEN HE WAS 20,,,,,, he stole a car and when the police stopped him he said he was obiwon kenobi of starwars and he was on a mission to save the princess..... he also talked to the tv set,,,, knew what they were going to say to him.....and also like your mother could act perfectly normaL when he had to..... but i had togo to court to get him committed and there he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia,,,,, it broke my heart ,,,,,, he spent some time in a psyche ward but when he got out he wouldnt take his meds so he decided toleave the state (which he was not to do ,, he was on probation) he left and met up with his brother in florida and the craziness did not stop...... he abandoned his car and stole 2 other cars and ended up in prison.... I just came from seeing him today......he has an uncle that became this way around the same age as him.... so genetics does play a part....watch the movie a BEAUTIFUL MIND AND I THINK YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY TRUELY GO THRU...... (RUSSEL CROWE,, RON HOWARD DIRECTED AND WON AN OSCAR FOR IT) WE MUST CARE AND BE PATIENT AND LOVE THEM AND NEVER GIVE UP ON THEM........SHE NEEDS HELP AND THE ORG WILL NOT GIVE HER THE PROPER HELP BELIEVE ME NICKEY I KNOW ..........

DEAR KIS ,,,,,,,WELCOME TO THE BOARD AND KNOW YOU ARE IN GOOD AND KIND COMPANY...... if you read my biography you will see that i have suffered severe depression and also was married toa man who claimed to be annointed....I also have 5 children.. only one in the trooth.....my baby (16) and yes i have many horror tales to tell,,,, so many that it boggles my mind ,, i do see a therapist and have been so blessed to have the courage to not listen to so--called encouragement from the society... i am getting stronger,,,i am so proud

( i did not take my humble pill today) i am just so happy and proud.... to anyone who reads this it may seem quite silly...but for me it is such an accomplishment... after months of therapy,,i have found the courage to "reveal" myself....i was able to reach out and write personally to 2 friends..it was great!!!!

DEAR UGG ,,,,,,I am so proud of you when i first came here a few months back I too was searching for a voice,,, and i am glad to say I feel so free here its just what the doc ordered I too am in therapy,,,, and have been for so long my doc just couldnt believe all the support i got from this board and he is happy for me....but I too have some one still in,,, so its a struggle... day by day.... but I have even gone as far as helping desperate df ones and it makes me feel so good,,, better than any day in field service,,, (never much good at knocking on strangers doors......) so KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK,,,BABY STEPS IS JUST FINE....IT WORKS FOR ME ,,,,,,,,TAKE CARE

when you look at how much control has been exerted over us over the years, you can't help but be amazed.
for example, if we had a major snowstorm in the area and the entire state was told by the governor to "please not go out", unless the call was made by the elders, the meeting was still on and you were expected to attend.
