I don´t think that this site has been radicalized… It´s only some people that do the same mistake over and over again. They always take one group of people, either Muslims or Jewish, Polish, JW:s or Uzbeks or red, or black or, yellow and say -……they are all the same. If some rightwing (nazi radicalized) person in Norway, shot down 78 young social democrats on an island in Norway,,,does this mean that all Norwegians will capable of doing the same thing? If one JW:s in a congregation assault sexually some boy or girl, doeas it mean that all JW:s has the potential of doing that?

Why more highly educated people are less into conspiracy theories
by Mickey mouse ini've seen discussions here about how jehovah's witnesses seem to be prone to believing conspiracy theories... https://digest.bps.org.uk/2017/04/05/why-more-highly-educated-people-are-less-into-conspiracy-theories/.
this last paragraph seems particularly relevant:.
importantly, van prooijen said his findings help make sense of why education can contribute to “a less paranoid society” even when conspiracy theories are not explicitly challenged.

“but I know from my own experience that Witnesses are hugely into (if not more prone to falling for) pseudoscience, especially in the area of alternative medicine.”
I totally agree with you. Practically all members of my former JW cong. had weird ideas about everything, about vaccinations, about cartoon figures being demons, about old antique material possessed with demons, about transplantations, about homeopath, …..etc.etc….
Sorry to say that most of them was poorly educated, and some of them definitely had a very low IQ, and many had psychotic tendencies going on pill…

Breaking news from Stockholm…
One man 36 years of age and father of 4 children are arrested for terrorist attack in Stockholm last day. The man is of Uzbekistan heritage. It looks that he stole a truck and carried some sort of homemade bomb that didn´t blow off. Other persons within his circle are also taken in to police station for interrogation, but not yet arrested. The people from Uzbekistan do often have an Islamic faith and many of them are active in the ISIS. All this information is not yet confirmed by the police. But I think the information is trustworthy.

If you call this a "It is cultural suicide." then the US must have committed this "It is cultural suicide." in or at least 200 hundred years.

When did you hear the Swedish prime minister say : “"This has nothing to do with Islam.", I live in Sweden and I have listen to all broadcasts over internet, Facebook, radio and TV, and not once I have heard the Swedish prime minister ever said these words. In fact It looks like that nobody knows who is behind this horrible deed.
However in even a country with just about 10 million of citizen, there will always pop up one or two individuals with a disturbed brain… that just wants to make their mark in the history. The last time it happened was in Stockholm in December 2010. This event was with a depressed disturbed Muslim, that just happened to blow up himself, but no other, in the same street at drottninggatan. Living his wife and children in destress in London. It is not about religion, as JW,s, it is about brain damage and brainwash…

It seems that we are in almost same situation you and me. I started to fade gradual about 20 years ago. 15 years ago I stopped go to meetings. And I have not attended one single meeting in 15 years (except for a funeral 10 years ago.) But my wife is still in and active. All our children (6 of them) were raised as JW:s, one of them even got baptized, but faded just 2 years after baptizing. In my wife’s cong. I am a very well-known person (former elder), and the members of that cong.s still say hello to me when we meet in the town. I believe that most of the brothers and sisters know that I am apostate, writing on sites like this, but there concerns are not my faith or my apostate. They are more concern about the influence our family has over my wife’s faith. According to the rules as I know them, the only reason for divorce is if your faith is at stake, by continuing living with an apostate. If so, you have the right to separate….but, but, but, if my wife choses that deal, she will lose her whole family…children, grandchildren and the men she has lived with for over 40 years. And she can´t take that. So, we still live together never speaking about religious believes, her meeting at the Cong or anything that can disturb our relation. When there is a TV program that shake her believe system (about evolution, or other Bible truths then those she has learned) She just leave the room and come back when the danger is over. The thing is, we do not suffer….It is she that have the problem. Of course I sometimes worry over her mental health. Living in the spiders nest, must make you a little nervous. But when she realize that no one of us are going to argue about her believe system and none of us are going to stop her meeting attendance or even her preaching work, she has I kind of relaxed or loosing up a bit and even invited “her sisters” to sewing circle in our home.
The bottom line is….don´t argue with your wife, especially about doctrine matters and the borgs teaching. Let her attend her meeting, even drive her there if it is necessary. Your kindness to her makes her understand that you are in fact no enemy. Many JW,s are not in fact believing the shit they read in the WTS. They are more members of a social club that want to keep all “their friend”, and don´t want to disturb others with their doubts.

Figuratively a religious mind is a big pink elephant inside your head that blocks all new and fertile ideas, that the rest of human world is in desperate need of to survive and live a “the good life”.

Local Elder Mentions this Site from the Platform
by James Jack ina local elder had the part this week on the "good news" brochure.
he said: "if the householder has any questions, direct them to jw.org, don't say, just look up jehovah's witnesses on the internet(an older sister said this at the door), if you do they will be directed to a site visited by apostates and weak witnesses!
" "this mistake, would cause the householder to never accept bible truth".. i thought to myself, wow, i'm sure some listening to this part, will get curious now(many in the hall are just being exposed to the internet, and practicing with their new tablets) and do, just what they were told not to do..
