smother them in chocolate and then serve them at the democratic national convention
who has saved more human lives (estimated at over one billion - that's billion with a b) than anyone else in history as a direct result of his work?
who won the nobel peace prize in 1970?
who still teaches at texas a&m at the age of 90?
I don't think lack of food is the problem and the reason people in these countries starve. It is more to do with the political processes that prevents local farm subsidies so that the country ends up needing to purchase foreign food for example (which is subsidised).
This is an example of people standing for "principle" while other people are busy dying of starvation.
Why not feed the dying first and then stand up for your "principle" at a better time to do so?
do you think those iraqi's were tortured to find wmd?.
the rank and file soldier was following the orders of the hired interrogation contractors (who are outside of military law) to soften up the prisoners.
what were they looking for this past year?
I agree it does not represent the vast majority of US soldiers - in reality. The issue is that it does represnt the vast majority of US soldiers - in perception. In order to succeedd the perceptions need to be changed. This will be no small task though, especially with commie-leftists thinking this helps their socialist agenda.

Yeru,
The humiliation was terrible...from what I've seen of it, I went through worse at Survival School...
Either you haven't seen much of it or your asshole must look like a giant cave from being raped in survival school. BTW - how many of your fellow survival school students died there? Prisoners have been killed in Iraq from what I have read.
Just ignore Six - he just likes to inflame the board and he gets away with it.

I am an envirowhacko and you can shove your own whatever up your a$$. I don't intend to kiss it.
That being said, I quit supporting Greenpeace because of this very issue. On 99% of the issues I agree with Greenpeace but their stance on GM foods is silly. I approached one of their directors about the possibility of me making focused contributions or excluding their GM foods campaign from my contributions and they declined.
The subject of GM foods has come up here before and many opposed it strongly - of course they would rather see dumb African's die over their "principles" than compromise on the issue. We don't want to feed starving people GM food - it might be bad for their health. Do leftists only use one side of their brain?
that lagging indicator of employment is silencing the "jobless recovery" critics, in the last two months (march and april) 600,000+ new jobs created, and the january and febraury figures are up.
are you still working?
newly employed?
Adding new jobs is always good for the incumbent and bad for the challenger...funny how warped it can be huh?
i don't want one more u.s. soldier to die for the iraqi people.
it's now obvious to me that the international community was right.
the people of iraq do not deserve to live in a free society.
I think socialists are very dangerous. Socialism is a bigger danger than Al Quaeda.

lol...right.
shut the borders and F**k the rest of the world. Let everyone fend for themselves. If they want to trade we will do so if it is an attractive deal for us. We need to realize we don't need to babysit the rest of the world and most of the other countries are pretty impotent anyway.
If the USA had not supported a POS like Israel we would not have any enemies. Cut them off with everyone else and the USA will do just fine.

great idea! lets turn iraq into another afghanistan! this is certainly gonna improve the security situation!
You are one of the prime canidates who keeps claiming there was never a security problem to begin with and america went there for other reasons so why bring it up?
Bush has made a total mess over Iraq. I agree on that. I just like arguing with socialists because they are animalistic in their hed instincts.
