America needs to change the whole way we look at things. This isn't about wars, terrorists or other stuff. America needs to get out of the "consume it now" mentality and start thinking about the consequences of what we do - consequences to ourselves, our kids and our grandkids. Sadly it's only ever about 2 year cycles (elections) and anyone thinking or acting with greater foresight is doomed to be shut down in the USA now.

frustration over these insanely rising gas prices finally took it's toll on even -keeled mr. flipper !
i started my rant , wanting these guys feedback , " what is it with these #ucking gas prices ?

Flipper you have every right to be pissed. But stay pissed until they find an alternative. Otherwise this will just keep happening. America needs a revolution against corruption and against short sighted thinking - problem is we have no one to lead it as al those n power appear to be corrupt. Not one of the candidates is even talking about Medicaid or Social Security - wait till those chickens come home and have no real funding.

Flipper...it's simple. Without disruption there will be no change. Change never occurs when people are comfortable. This is typical panic mode on the part of many - unfortunate but hopefully America will get serious about finding energy alternatives to carbon/combustion. We need lots and lots of people to be pissed off. Frankly I think it is nonsense to tax the oil companies. Their margins are more or less the same as when oil was cheap. Don't hate oil companies. Hate the government and the consumers who sat on their fat asses when things were cheap.
