This weeks service meeting! More craziness.....
by stuckinarut2 inso this weeks service meeting is so full of "crazy".
a whole 15 min part devoted to trying to indoctrinate everyone on how to "explain our beliefs on 1914".
then another 15 min part called "a tool to help us explain our beliefs about 1914".

Memorial 2015

" so to avoid any embarassing situations we wanted to check when the memorial date was.
it turns out the first full moon after the vernal equinox is april 4th, 2015.. here's the good part...it's also the night of a full lunar eclipse.

Why would anyone think their IQs are above average?
Certainly Stephen Lett's is well below average. There would have to be at least one genius on the GB to counter-balance his obviously low intellect and bring the collective IQ above average. No candidate for that stands out.

New explanation of Gog of Magog: Two Gogs?
by leaving_quietly ini just finished watching the recording of the talk at the annual meeting that re-explains gog of magog.
i caught something not previously talked about, that i can recall.. gog of magog is thought to be a coalition of nations that attach god's people during the great tribulation.
this is from ezekiel 38 & 39.. gog and magog in revelation 20 represents those with the same attitude as gog of magog.. thus, the new teaching (maybe not new, but i'll have to research this) is that gog in ezekiel is not the same as gog in revelation 20. two different gogs, happening about a thousand years apart.. .

Oh my Gog!
They're totally lost without Crazy Freddie Franz.
His ideas were whacked to be sure, but at least they made some kinda' sense. That, and they were interesting.
These guys are just boring, dull, insipid and clearly uninspired!

Their average is below average, to be sure!
That being said, if they got rid of Stephen Lett, their average would get a huge boost!

Not a snarky caption, but an observation: It is Biblical texts like this that give evidence to the arrogance of the believer and self-justification to their perverse desire to control others. It's just sick to lump humans in with animals and suggest that a "rod for their back" is the proper way to treat them.
Religion has got to go!

And what was that "proof"? Just his assertion, nothing else.
This religion has somehow convinced its followers that the word "evidently" is a satisfactory substitute for actual evidence.
It's a pretty interesting psychological phenomenom.
Still, let's not forget: It's still a cult!
