Hey guys, it's a DEPOSITION. It says that in the title of this thread on on page 2 of the linked transcript.

Ashe was not on a witness stand in a court room. This is out of court testimony.

It's part of the discovery process pre-trail. There was not a judge present.

The attorneys voice their objections for the record so they are there if and when a trail occurs later.

she said to me she never heard of this and said she will have to look it up.

in your time of being a witness, have you witnessed a jw experience death of a loved one due to refusal of a blood transfusion?

i know this is an extremely sensitive subject and can reopen deep emotional wounds.

game1914over: If this has happened to someone that you know, how are they dealing with it or have dealt with it through the years? Is there a sense of guilt or regret? Or have they just put it all behind?

Life goes on, but you can never put something like that behind you.

For those that wake up, the sense of betrayal by the organization which we trusted is overwhelming.

The leaders of this religion make ridiculous demands of their followers, yet they NEVER take any responsibility for their actions.

i have to share this with you.. after leaving the borg i had to concentrate to solve so many personal problems (financial, child custody, etc.

) that it left me with a poor social life.

i just didn't have the nerve/time to make new friends.

and they left the congregations, would you then feel open to be thier friends?.

many on here have the same complaint, that in the jw congregations, there were clickes, no one had time for each other,.

people judged, there was a lack of association, freindship , true concern and love were lacking.

Where the problem exists and local circumstances allow, it might be possible for the body of elders to arrange for those who are sensitive to fragrances to sit in a somewhat isolated area in the Kingdom Hall.

does a female kingdom publisher need to wear a head covering if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher?.

in a questions from readers item published in the watchtower of july 15, 2002, it was stated that a sister should cover her head if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher, whether he is baptized or not.

further consideration of the matter suggests that a modification to this direction is appropriate.. if the male publisher who accompanies the sister while she conducts an established bible study is baptized, the sister would certainly want to wear a head covering.

For the sake of the "Kingdom Good News," the expression "colored socks" means any color other than black or white, although white socks are generally inadvisable for a brother even though white shirts are evidently preferred.
