The Lord replied, because I am IMAGINARY, you peckerhead!
But if he's imaginary, then how could he "reply"?
I knew it had to be a send-up when I saw that it was you posting this old chestnut!!!

Bethelite"s wife storms out of headquarters and leaves him...she was forced into Bethel. My story begins....
by Witness 007 inwe were all in our 20's the 1990's pioneers who still hoped the 1914 generation was for real.
jenny {names changed} loved peter who was younger then me and very handsome.
he wanted to go to bethel since he was a kid.

Who irons bed clothes? That's just weird!
(Not that I don't believe you, because I do. I just can't believe that the Henschel's would require that).
The more I learn about the WT leaders the more I see that they make the Pharisees look like amateurs.

MORE PROPAGANDA FROM THE CO!!
by DATA-DOG inwell, once again my "friend" has shared their notes with me from the latest co visit.
besides the usual 1914 assertions/ world getting worse all the time/ our day is the worst of all time nonsense, the co mentioned some interesting things.
number one won't surprise you.

DD: The CO even mentioned that "false religion" has the audacity to claim to represent God, but betrays that claim by their actions and doctrine.
I would actually agree with that statement, and then I would turn right around and apply to him and the entire religion. Results: False Religion!
Or to paraphrase Stephen F. Roberts
“I contend we are both anti-religion, I just believe in one fewer religion than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible religions, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”
Richard Dawkins is well known for echoing this sound bite in A Devil’s Chaplain. Let's paraphrase Dawkins as above:
"Jehovah's Witnesses assert that, when it comes to Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, those are actually false religions. We are all unbelievers about most of the religions that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one religion further."
(Note: To be clear, the above are paraphrases of well-known statements by Dawkins and Roberts. To read their actual statements, click on the hyperlink on their respective names.)

Q: Why doesn't Jenny run things and have ToMo do her dirty laundry?
A: I know: It's a cult! In fact, it's a misogynist cult!

GB Not Providing Food-Helpers Write Articles
by TakeOffTheCrown inwhy does the governing body depend on the helpers to write watchtower articles and the information in other publications?
why does the governing body not write these articles themselves?
they depend on the helpers to compose/write this information.

Beware the will use legal means against lies
by Listener ini am posting a transcript a part of the talk given by anthony morris iii from jw broadcasting july 2015. i've posted much much more than necessary but i wanted to keep it in context.
the governing body has approved of my speaking of something that jesus himself spoke of on a number of occasions.
and i might say at the outset that this is by no means a pessimistic speech meant to discourage anyone.

Listener, I agree that we should be careful that any comments we make about specific individuals should be supported by facts and/or credible evidence.
That being said, i think it's odd that you wrote this:
There have been comments made on here questioning whether AMIII is drunk when giving his speeches, I don't know if anyone has outright accused him of being drunk but I thought it might be good to remind everyone that we must be careful about what we accuse these individual GB members of.
And yet you began your second post on this thread with this personal observation:
AMIII comes across as very sober and sad in this speech, not his normal self.
Do you see what you implied?

It was about 12 or 13 years ago that I learned about the UN/NGO scandal. When I tried to talk to my born-in wife about it she walked about with her hands over her ears shouting, "I'm not listening to any of this."
In retrospect, I realize that is was at that exact moment that our marriage ended. I tried for years to gently, subtly get her to see the truth about "The Truth," but was never able. For half a dozen years we continued to live together, but it was only as roommates.
I tried to get my whole family out, but I couldn't.
I tried to get my children out, but I couldn't.
Eventually, I just had to get myself out because I couldn't stand to live a lie. How ironic, my "double life" was pretending to believe things I didn't believe. That was my hypocrisy.
Whenever I read about situations like the FMF's I always hope that others will be able to get their family out of this cult intact, whole and healthy. It does happen sometimes, just not very often.
This religion destroys families. It just does.
FreeMindFade, I wish you success in leaving this religion. Hopefully you'll be able to get your wife to come to her senses and wake up.
But let's not forget: It's a cult!
