I supposed most of us wouldn't be so bothered by something like this if it weren't for the fact that this kind of thing was strictly forbidden for so long. Also, we here know how desperately UNHAPPY many JWs and ex-JWs are as a result of WT policies like shunning, blood-transfusions and pedophiles.

i have always been extremely active in every aspect of the org, since childhood.

we have no organizational symbol to identify ourselves but show that we are jehovahs christian witnesses by living in harmony with gods will.john 13:35.. don't you just love those "old" lights?.

Insistance on legal contracts

there was a wt study not too long ago that insisted on studying every pact that god made in the past, but adding the spin of calling them "legal contracts".

this week's book study concentrated on the same thing.

Blondie, Your public baptism is the legal agreement per the WTS.

As far as I'm concerned, the WTBTS breached their contract with me.

The agreement is null and void. If anything, they owe me, big time. Not that I'm ever going to be able to get them to acknowledge it, let alone collect anything.

JW TV is the reason for the hysteria in the KH

if you, like me, have noticed the sudden increase in hysteria in the khs right now, i put it down to that jw tv site.

its's far more extensive than i thought it was, i thought it was just 1, 1 hour program a month.

there's a s*** load of videos on that site.. and the real problem, from just watching a clip from each video, is that these guys are clearly "mentally unstable".

In my decades of being a witness, I also only met one JW attorney. That guy was a complete idiot. I wouldn't hire him to open my junk mail.

Looking back to what happened since sept 2012... i must say its brilliant !

who thought in the early months of 2012 that such a rebranding would take place in only a matter of 24 months?.

they managed to go from an antique looking and boring website (watchtower.org) with hardly any attractive content to go to a fresh looking new website with stuff for everyone, families, children, teenagers.. movies, and short videos about almost everything and new ones added every month.

cartoons, animation video's , interviews, picture activities all kind of projects, many audio files like dramatic bible readings, dramas and music, online research tools, new brochures for kids (off and online) etc.

Right, that's why the WT leadership sends all the old Bethelites out to pasture in their golden years--no pension, no medical insurance, and no SSI because they never paid into the system during their productive working years--while the fatkat GB members live like kings.
