  Help reform the crumbling tower with your bright ideas

  What will be the reaction in the congregation when...

  we have many older brothers and sisters in our congregation, and surely the same in many congregations all around the world.. what will be the reaction in the congregations when all these older ones, who were sure they wouldn't die before the end, pass away and leave a vacuum in the congregation.. i don't wish these older brothers and sisters harm, but eventually they will be too old to follow and they will die away.. it won't be the same anymore, when they see these old pillars who stood so faithfully crumble due to old age.. .

  I'm surprised that hardly anyone of importance in the congregation died since the last 21 years, when I joined.

  Time will come when many will pass away in a single year.

  What you said is entirely true. I was thinking of this myself this morning. "Who will replace these old elders once they pass away?" We have a couple of old elders in my congregation ruling with an iron fist. I don't see how the younger generation will do a similar job keeping everyone in check.

  dear friends,.

  much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.

  however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.

  Ouch, I think I have a ring around the butt now. It's NOT comfortable.

  I think I'll get a better one....lol

  I just went back to Walmart and spent a few bucks more for another toilet seat, and this one is VERY comfortable !

  I found my way to the Russian Government web site, and saw a place where I could send an email to President Pooptin (Putin) and I clicked on it and wanted to ask if he was actually the King of the North....

  I decided to go buy a new toilet seat this morning. The one I had was old and it was due to get changed, so I went and bought a cheap one at Walmart for about 10 dollars. It looked nice and clean, so I was happy, until i sat on it for a while.....

  Ouch, I think I have a ring around the butt now. It's NOT comfortable.

  I think I'll get a better one....lol
