  Can someone who uses Chrome on a smartphone..

  .. please do me a small favour?.

  can you look at this list of my posts and tell me if nearly all of them are cut off on the right?.

  i have been posting always using the uc browser, then decided to try chrome on an android phone and found that most of my posts are unreadable!!.

  I know sometimes things do appear cut off to me, though.

  I think it has something to do with posting long web address links in the post.

  I am on a Samsung tablet, which I think is a droid, using Chrome, and I can see everything fine.

  what is it about some of these self proclaimed "christians" who go seeking persecution when it don't exist?.

  we've had a case locally in calgary where the initial reports sounded like the person had a legitimate claim: a bus driver didn't want to drive the bus in a gay pride parade and said he'd resign if they made him and that the local transit company was threatening him to force him to do it.. except it was all invented ... by him !.

  they already proactively told him that there was no danger that he would be asked to drive that bus in the parade (i.e.

  "The People" are not one of the 3 branches of government, as I'm sure you know.

  Any law is subject to review by the Judicial branch.

  Ratigan, people appeal to the Supreme Court because that's the way the US government is handled.

  We have 3 branches of government:

  Legislative, Executive, and Judicial

  This Separation of Powers is built into the Constitution to prevent any one branch from overreaching.

  So if the Legislative branch passes laws that overreach, it is the Judicial branch's job to interpret them as to their Constitutionality. If they are determined to be unconstitutional, then the laws are overruled.

  So, Obergefell went down in the exact appropriate way.

  BTW, this is a 4th grade social studies lesson. It's amazing how many Americans didn't pay attention.

  And, she hears it twice a week at meetings, from others when she goes in field service and any time she is on JW.org.

  It's gaslighting, really. Not many JWs are happy, but the constant repeat of "we're the happiest people on earth" denies their reality.

  It's like the organization is the personification of Narcissist Personality disorder. They are always right, all transgressions are justfied, everyone exists to serve their needs and they'll gaslight you in a minute to make you doubt your feelings or recollections.

  I'm so sorry you have to watch your mother fall for this and suffer in her old age.

  i see them reasonably often and always say hello much to their obvious annoyance.

  At one time I did feel worried that I did not have a religion. Now I don't. It just isn't necessary for me and makes me feel very unhappy. Religion just isn't my thing.

  Sometimes when you are depressed, it seems like everyone else but you is happy and having a good life.

  But, depression lies. I agree with LisaRose. Please get evaluated for depression. It is treatable, and once your mind clears, you can then better make the big decisions in life like Religion.

  I think she'll dig in her heels and stay in jail for awhile. She's taken on an "obey god as ruler rather than men" stance.

  Maybe she should be reminded that the Bible also says to render "Caesars things to Caesar."
