  Can you cause an abortion when you are not even pregnant??

  You are not pregnant until the zygote attaches to the uterine wall. Therefore, preventing implantation is not an abortion!

  This is a scientific fact. Neither Hobby Lobby nor anyone else has the right to their own facts.

  Therefore their argument that these birth control methods are abortifacients is simply, factually wrong.

  So, their worry that someone is getting an abortion even though they are not pregnant, through their health insurance plan is ridiculous and impossible.

  VERY short day at the Arlington/Dallas International Convention-My Observations

  okay, some good takeaway:.

  i have never been to a convention quite like this before.

  a very friendly vibe all around, lots of banners and posters with sayings like "sending love to all our brothers", "see you in the paradise", "ecuador sends greetings", and "jehovahs-witness.net" (okay, i lied on that last one...).

  for me: how to garden, do laundry (we washed in an old maytag wringer and pegged the wash on a wire line), cook, clean house.. most importantly, how to show love and respect .

  My grandmother taught me how to garden, flowers that is. I still blow my husband away when we are shopping for flowers in the spring and I can identify most of them without looking at the label.

  But, he grew up a city slicker and is a little impaired in the nature department.

  She also was a quilter and although she never let me help her, I have a quilt fetish with quite a collection, including some handmade by her.

  It's like snuggling under her love at night.

  Hopefully, it doesn't apply to large, publicly traded corporations.

  Hobby Lobby has already lost my business.

  The SCOTUS decision is a damned shame. For all the fussing the Right does about Sharia law becoming the order of the day, this decision just paved the way for employers to force their religious beliefs on their employees.

  When they want Christianity to be respected, it's all well and good, but just wait until a religious business owner of another faith wants to force their religious beliefs on them. Then, look out.
