  @ Respectful_observer: It COULD be an Invicta like I said, but somehow I doubt it. I mean really, who in WT land is going to question him if he really were wearing a $25,000 gold Rolex Daytona? Even a Patek? I bet 75% of the Dubs at Bethel don't know what a Rolex IS, much less what it COSTS, because they are so secluded and sheltered/clueless. And I'd bet that 99.95% of them wouldn't know Patek from Timex.

  comparisons are made between modern laws and the mosaic law, and how these ancient laws are far superior.... where do i start!???!.

  Education vs Indoctrination

  with all of the hype about being "taught by jehovah's organization" making witnesses "the most educated people on the planet" etc... i have been thinking about a simple definition:.

  education = exposure, information and lessons from varying sources designed to allow the student to form a healthy conclusion.. indoctrination = limited information from one selective source with only one opinion available as the "correct conclusion".

  hmmm....sound familiar??.

  Know what I find even more disturbing? Anthony Morris III's WATCH. How so? Well, I'm a big watch/knife/firearm/EDC enthusiest, and I can tell you that he is most likely wearing a two-tone Rolex Daytona. Price? Around $20,000.00+. So much for keeping a simple eye, aye Anthony? How many congregation huts in Africa could that watch build? What a charlatan! But alas, the Rolex does match his gold Pope rings he has been spotted wearing in other JW.crap videos. Way to fleece the flock you Pharisee! Now, this could be a cheap $150.00 Invicta Speedway, but I highly doubt it knowing how these money-grubbing clowns at the top are.

  Confession time. No one goes on to Youtube to see Mike. (ok, unless you're into guys) It's Kim and her sexy Brit accent that draw me in like some sort of siren song every time.   These people need to stay back in their own county, with their Dark Ages barbaric religion. However I will say this: You don't extend your hand to shake in the arab world. I forget which hand anymore, but one of them is typically used to wipe one's buttocks after defacating. So it is considered a rude gesture to shake with that hand in the arab world. However, when coming to terms over a deal, using the other hand and shaking until a price is agreed upon is proper. So it's part religious, and part cultural barrier and ignorance.

  so i'm having a pint and talking to the owner and his gf.. she's talking about her line of work - leads to my family history - and that my wife is in a strange religion.. the owner snorts, and says very disdainfully that his ex was a jehovah's witness.

  i said bingo.. then the barmaid pipes in about her grandma and all of her aunts and uncles were witnesses, and were all out.

  but the grandma has witness siblings, so went back after 20 years.

  Working for JW's

  just interested in experiences any of you have had working for other witnesses or companies owned by witnesses.

  i heard mutterings occassionally from other witnesses they would never work for another witness.

  regardless of anything i said, the owner was adamant in his refusal to believe i had ever done anything more than being a delivery driver.

  @ Rebel8: I would have literally kicked the sh*t out of that Elder's daughter for being such an underhanded piece of sh*t! Imagine, taking food out of you and your families mouth to feed their JW friends at a weekend BBQ!! I would have immediately quit, then kicked their azzes! That is just appaulling behavior. Screw them!

  I've heard too many horror stories myself.....I would NEVER work for a JW - EVER!!
