  This article is very telling about the judgmental attitudes and priorities of JW's. First thing young Ted asked this woman was, "Are you a Pioneer?" Status. Saving face. Clawing your way to the top of the Theocratic ladder. Groveling for God's approval to reign in heaven as a 144,000 King of the Universe. That's the name of the JW game. Sickening.

  This woman really doesn't say jack-squat about her "marriage" to this man. Just that she enjoyed spending full-time service in servitude to "the Boss", and acting like a pompous Queen beeouch to the other lesser women at Bethel. Oh yes, she had humble beginnings in a poor backwoods Canadian province. But she escaped.....and she wasn't going back!! It was the living off the kindness of the rank-n-file from a suitcase bought from Jean Paul Gaultier while enjoying "much needed" vacations to Sweden, Europe, and anywhere in the world where her royal highness was needed, or where it was warm.

  Now, with the "Bossman" long since pushing daisies, the Queen has been pushed into the background by the other, younger up-n-coming Queen Beeouches at Bethel. The old Queen-mum is just about dead, and the new high-n-mighty Queens rule the Kingdom. Let's all Boo-hoo for the ol' Queen-mum, as apparently no one really gives a crap about her retro-50's hair salon or her azzhole of a husband who's no longer around to kick ass and take names, and blame the victims of child abuse for their own belittlement. Boo-freakin' hoo!!!!!

  Don't worry ol' Queen-mum; your turn at the "Launch Pad" probably isn't very far off, and soon you'll be reunited with your tyrant of a husband in the "common grave".

  I swear, the "human worship" is really ramping up lately? Now, we gotta hear about the depressed high-n-mighty spouses of former, deceased, Governing Body Members? Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel!!!!

  Oh my! God forbid that the Congregations money that THEY THEMSELVES DONATED, might actually stay within the Congregation and benefit them somehow? Un-freakin-believable! This money-grab is absolutely sickening! They micro-manage everything! The Pharisees and money changers in Jesus' day couldn't hold a candle and would be jealous of these crooks to be sure! I swear, every day that goes by I am more and more astounded and shocked at the freakin' BALLS and audacity these crooks have. The fleecing of the Flock is in full effect! The foxes are now completely raiding the henhouse. I am so happy to have awakened from this BS years ago, that I could do cartwheels down the middle of the street. The control, the abuse, the manipulation is so extreme within this CULT. And these clowns claim to be a "charity" and actually have tax-exempt status? Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!! They only charity they are concerned about is lining their own pockets with the rank-n-file's MONEY. I am just sick thinking about this one aspect alone.

  some of the best days for bethelites were when there was ice cream for dessert.

  I went to school with a nerdy (but nice) son of the Presiding Overseer. He was a nice guy, no doubt about it. He's still in, and probably an MS by now. Anyway, he married the daughter of a Circuit Overseer. Hahahahaha! Can you imagine what HE has to try and live up to? She's a pretty plastic face as far as I can see. He worked in a printing factory, probably so he could learn skills to go to Bethel and be a slave for nothing there. He nearly severed his thumb at work, so had to quit. Now he runs a snack truck business delivering chips. He had at least one child with this CO's daughter.

  Anyway, I once met his PO father who I'm still friendly with. (he's a nice enough fellow) I asked how his son was doing, his marriage, etc. Know what the father told me? I quote, "Oh, he's doing fine. His marriage is very Theocratic." I knew right then and there.......without a shadow of a doubt, that my friend's life was a pure, living, hell, devoid of love and filled with monotonous never-ending servitude to the JW cult. His marriage isn't even filled with love, it's merely "Theocratic." That one sentence spoke volumes to me. I kind of cocked my head to the side in a knowing sigh of pity. I'm sure his PO father caught it.

  my parents haven't seen it, thanks to the chilly weather i've been wearing a sweater around them.

  Last time I checked, we are no longer under Mosaic Law. I can eat shrimp, a pulled-pork sandwich, receive a life-saving BLOOD TRANSFUSION, do more than get out of bed on the Sabbath, and have sexual relations with my wife without having to be thought of as unclean for a month. Oh yeah, I can also make marks on my body or get a tattoo if I want. Neo-Pharisees no longer have any say in my life. They never should have.

  I have this black and grey tiger tattoo on my arm. Shane O'Neill (SpikeTV's first InkMaster champion) did this in 7 hours back in June of 2006. It's freakin' awesome. My wife just got her first tattoo at age 52 in January from Shane of a 3D full-colour Eastern Swallowtail butterfly. It looks so real like it landed on her shoulder. Very tasteful.

  I can't believe the developments in just the past say, 12 months from this Cult. Just when I thought they couldn't be more outrageous or top themselves with their own stupidity, another month rolls around and they pull their pants down around their ankles and show their hairy asses. It's just an incredible sight to behold. Truly, these must be the "Last Days." (for the cult!) One can hope?

  Never would I have imagined such bold-faced gall and audacity. Never would I have imagined the near constant stream of "New Light" and "refinements" coming from the leadership. Leadership which used to be anonymous and faceless, unless you yourself were at Bethel. No more! The Popes of the blue Logos have shown themselves! Cartoons? Literature trollies? Folk music and televangelism? Acceptance of the once "Evil" internet, AND social media? Picking the pockets of children?

  Out of the Mouth of Babes - Bethel Gift shop?

  about a week ago i posted to ask for some suggestions on how handle my (pre-teen) sons upcoming trip with his father trip to bethel this summer.

  i got some wonderful suggestions.

  some of which was to leave him alone, as he will see through the bullshxt himself.

  Your son is obviously more informed and up-to-date than your husband. Your son has seen the May broadcast. Your son doesn't live under a rock, he knows about the JW products, and also already knows about the Caleb & Sophie cardboard cut-outs up in Bethel. Just wait until it all catches up with your husband. Your husband might actually come back from this trip more "awake" then you could even imagine. Especially after seeing all of this Borg worship and commercialization.
