Liquidation sale of RBC assets

got this very interesting email last night and i thought i'd share it.. this is from the local rbc.. "in harmony with our new ldc form we have been asked by the branch to liquidate all current assets of used tools and materials once owned by the rbc.

you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.

if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.

When articles were slated to come out from "Apostates" of People's Temple in the San Francisco Chronicle, Jim Jones had airplanes on standby for the next morning to take off down to Guyana. He instructed his followers to pack their belongings, get their money, and head to the airport. "Persecution" was coming down upon them. He gathered his congregants into the flying "Arks", and set off for his own "Spiritual Paradise", right here on earth, down in Jonestown, Guyana. Once there, he had complete control of his sheeple. Behaviour control, Information control, Thought control, Emotional control, and also Spiritual control. We all know what eventually happened.

Funny, WT is building their own brand new shiny HQ up in Wallkill. More and more bad press is exposing them as the abusive charlatans that they are. So, now everything is being put to a halt, extras are being sold off. Time to move the truly zealous, die-hard, fanatical JW's up to WT HQ, and shut the "Ark" doors. Time to control everyone, ala 1984.

now, 80-85 years later, we are still here.

if i was to do the counsel with a brother who had this much experience, i would have just thanked him for doing the talk, and marked him good on the point.

this is a good way to get money though.

I'm 36. I was told I'd never finish elementary school, much less enter or graduate high school. The May 1984 WT is forever seared into my mind. In the early 1980's, you could SMELL and TASTE the end; that's how close it was ! It was promised to the masses from the podium, during talk after talk. People never dreamed of seeing the year 2000 flip over in this System of Things, and now here we are 15 years after that date even? Time is a funny thing. Half my life ago I was 18 and had my whole life ahead of me. Now, I realize that I'm halfway to 72. That is really depressing.

All this stuff with Radical Islam and stuff happening in the news makes one wonder if Governments aren't ready to turn on at least THAT hateful religion, sparking off the Great Tribulation, WWIII, Armageddon? No. I study how bad world events and atrocities were in WWII during the 1930's and 1940's, and I think, "We're not even anywhere near those horrific conditions yet, so what is everyone so paranoid about?" World conditions are better than ever, yes there is bad, but nothing to rival past atrocities. (yet anyway). But then I think about the bible verse where Jesus said about, "you'll hear of wars, rumours of wars, and yet still the end will not come. For not the angels or even the son knows the day or the hour, but only the Father." (something like that) So really, what the hell is WT selling? No one knows the day nor the hour, so why keep pushing this fear-mongering?

last night we were invited to a get-together with quite a few heavies attendingelders and regular pioneers.

there was beer and later some music.

everyone got relaxed and let down their guard and starting talking all kinds of non-theocratic stuff that you only discuss after a few beers.

John-A gets a few too many Coronas in him, and HE thinks he's the F&DS, dispensing spiritual liquor at the proper time. I have a feeling he was anointed with tequila instead of oil.

You know, there was this guy on the "Ex-JW Group 3" on Facebook, and he was telling all these whooper stories as well. I mean real yarns! Everyone caught on soon enough, and I haven't seen him a quite a while. Now, I know where he went; - HERE!

There is no way in hell this happened. Maybe between a group of say (5) very close friends, out in on a camping trip or in a private house after a few drinks, but no way in hell was this a large multi-generational age group.

I agree with Slimfatboy, the last story was a real stretch, this one for sure is BS. This is total wishful thinking on the OP's part.

Reason: Especially with Elders and/or Pioneers being present, the air of paranoia is absolutely rampant and toxic in the Org right now, and anyone even remotely seen as not towing the company line is reported for apostasy and/or "Brazen Conduct."

John, how freakin' dumb and gullible do you think we are? We're not JW's anymore, that level of "stupid" doesn't exist in my body anymore.

if you are not politically correct, you will need to apologize for some perceived slight.. when i was an elder, i purposely avoided as much as i could, anybody that got easily offended.

i see years of acute economic crisis ahead for the w.t.

this is evident with letting go of " volunteer" bethalites throughout the world.

but my thread is on the consequences to the individual, and the organisation of letting " volunteer" bethalites go.. so what happens to the captive mind of the former bethalite when they are let go from bethel?

Myself, I can't wait for the disgruntled ex-Bethellites to start showing up here, telling their stories, and opening up about what's REALLY going on and what it's REALLY like to live up in the Ivory Towers with the "F&DS".

I just can't wait! It's going to be really something. We need to prepare ourselves for a nice influx, and roll out the red carpet for these "thirsty ones."

I agree with your post 90%. GMO's I don't agree with. I hate high fructose corn syrup, industrial-agri business, and the company known as Monsanto due to their bullying techniques. (I hate Wal*Mart for the same reason).

Modifying crops so as to not pollinate naturally, changing their make-up, creating clones of sheep/animals, etc is just creepy and wrong. 100 years ago our food was pretty much all-natural and organic. Now you have to pay premium just to get it? That's f*cked up, big time. I swear, I think half the diseases, early puberty, etc are brought upon by our modified foods. I'm 36. When I was in school, 8 yr old girls weren't having their periods or getting boobs. They are today! That's from the hormones and chemicals being inserted into our foods. Something is NOT right there.

a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.

I watched that documentary recently, and was totally floored that such a money-grubbing CULT could actually continue to not only operate, but actually flourish in some areas, all the while raping their members of time, freedom, and money. Scientology is a disgusting cult.
