January jw-tv broadcast with Lett
by bohm inlett is back with a vengance!.
* the last money-begging effort increased donations by 15% for two months; a letter by a 13 year old who donated is read out loud.
* since last may "so many good things have happened".

When I viewed this full-screen, I noticed that Lett has his initials embroidered onto his shirt cuffs. I couldn't see his watch brand though. The only people I know of who have their initials embroidered onto their shirt cuffs are the worldly business and political class who can afford to have such luxuries as gold Apple Watches, Rolex Submariners (with Serti dials) and whom also wear tailored Brooks Brothers suits. Must be nice, huh? Jesus Apostles didn't have a place to rest their heads, but these money-grubbing clowns wear tailored suits with their initials embroidered on the cuffs, Rolexes, and have every whim, need, and desire taken care of for them. What a bunch of PARASITES. They love their "Sheeple", because they love fleecing them 24/7/365.

Another conversation with my father
by joe134cd inthis is a conversation i had with my father when a short article on the pope came up on tv.. joe= you know i think this pope will do good things for the catholic church.
he's trying to get greater financial transparency not only for his organisation but also for religious institutions in general.
i mean the guy even chooses to drive around in a very modest car to save a dollar.. father= true.

I gotta luv how when you snub these assholes, well then all of a sudden it's about YOU not stumbling OTHERS????? WTF?
I would have told this Elder that SHE has stumbled me with her drama and hateful attitude, and that I've merely applied JESUS council on the subject by "turning the other cheek." If she has a problem with it, might I suggest "deadening her member" (brain) so as to not become stumbled.
You gotta learn to turn this sh*t around on these toxic manipulators, to show them up as the assholes that they are.

Governing Body Letter details things that "have never been done before." - Really?
by cappytan in[note: copy/pasted this with permission from reddit.].
once each year, the governing body writes a direct letter to the congregation members included in the yearbook.
in his annual message to the catholic faithful (urbi et orbi) delivered on christmas day, the pope spoke about world peace, terrorism, and the refugee crisis.

I like my ink. Got it at 20 & 26. I also regularly eat shellfish. I earned my red wings, and I didn't even have to consider myself unclean for 30 days after sacrificing some doves at the alter.
I might do any of these things again without guilt, seeing as how we're no longer under Mosaic Law.
F' this CULT.

So let me get this straight; the LDC has to dictate where to buy (2) TV monitors that will go on each side of the stage, at a cost of THOUSANDS of dollars? Someone is making money off this command. How so? Because WT could easily work out some deal to buy BULK quantity of standard 60" LED TV's at a cost of probably $350.00 a piece. Seriously. I've seen them on special for like $450 or so with the holidays. The only ones costing thousands of dollars a piece are the 70" LED Ultra4k HD ones, or ones that are "curved".
Like everything else in this MLM, what a freakin' scam!!

I'm 36. Growing up in the 1980's I was FORCED to go out in service in a hot car in the summer with my parents, instead of having fun like I wanted. It was only Sunday, so I kinda didn't mind. By the 1990's and my teenage years, I was long gone from the Field Ministry. I also never fell for the peer-pressure of joining the TMS. I hated public speaking, and wouldn't be forced into it. I later got good at it in school because of having to do various presentations in various science classes. (the irony!) But even in 1990's, my "Generation" couldn't stand Field Service, and would do anything to get out of it, including LYING on time slips. So here we are, 20 years later, and my "Generation" has our own kids. Think my "Generation" pushes the next "overlapping-Generation" to do the very thing we detested with a passion, causing hardship in the home? Hell no!! That's not happening. As a matter of fact, my son has never stepped foot in a Kingdumb Hall, and wouldn't know one if he saw it, and would be turned off by it's bland architecture if he did see one. So take THAT, WT-Cult! You stole my childhood, but the cycle ended with me. Contributions boxes not being filled? No sh*t Sherlock? I haven't donated a CENT since I was 10 years old and started to wake up to the hypocrisy of the congregational "elite" who's kids could act like total heathens and get away with murder, while others like myself were good and yet it was never enough and we were constantly chastised for every little thing and treated like prisoners. Can you tell I'm bitter? -

Tv's in Kingdom hall
by dothemath inso now that the borg has taken all of the congregations money, there was just a resolution to get all new tv's, etc for the stage for the new meeting format.. i wasn't there, but it was a large sum.
somebody mentioned over 3000$.. all the congregations in the city are likely doing the same thing, and are getting all the equipment from bethel.. i was wondering if this was happening all most everywhere?.
can't see it in third world countries( might not even have internet).

Gotta love this. This is a page right from another more modern American Cult: Scientology. All of their "learning centers" are set up just like this. It goes along great with the newly designed LBC cookie-cutter Kingdom Hall design. Open-air, modern, semi-office looking place of indoctrination, with fancy tech screens to lure in the unsuspecting and lull to sleep the already fully-in even more. A lot of "ohh and ahhhh", that really amounts to "symbolism over substance". It's like a slight of hand, dazzle you with the lights, while lifting your wallet.
Scientology has this down to a Science. (lol!!!!) JW's have now stolen it and adapted it for their own use. This is also true of the cartoons, music videos, and shitty cart music one hears on JW Broadcasting. All "borrowed" from Scientology, much like "Family Study Night" was borrowed from the Mormons.
