  Oh yeah, I am totally feeling this. Having been raised in "the crazy", I experienced this a lot myself. Nothing is ever positive or uplifting UNLESS it somehow benefits this crazy cult. If it benefits YOU as an individual human being, well that's just "Satan" try to negatively influence you into a sinful lifestyle. And all good JW's know, that anything not somehow pointing towards the benefit of the WTBTS is the broad path to a sinful lifestyle, hedonism, and "Satan", AKA - Everlasting Destruction!

  It's all so crazy and self-defeating. No JW lives an authentic life NOW. It's all just going thru the motions for some promised FUTURE life, that MAYBE you will get to live IF you make it past the final judgement at the end of the 1,000 year reign. Maybe. And even after that, if you mess up you'll be instantly vaporized out of existence, because during that time YHWH will have a zero tolerance policy on subordination or independent thinking.

  i was on he ex jw reddit page the other day and came across a posting from a woman who has become a successful author.

  she was raised a jw in new york and pioneered at one point in her life.

  USA toddler in car shoots mom dead AGAIN!!!

  yes afew months ago a florida woman was shot in the back with a gun left under her seat by her toddler.

  today a milwaukee woman was killed by the same thing.

  australian 30 year anniversary of port aurthur massacre when most dangerous automatic weapons were banned.....no massacres since for 30 years.

  Funny, other countries sure as hell don't seem to mind taking all of MONEY, AID, etc ever since...oh....WW2?

  So what you're saying is, everyone's entitled to their opinion except us, and that we're to just shut up, and keep the perpetual wallet open, aye? You know, I honestly hope Trump does become President, because then the free ride for the rest of the MOOCHER countries off of the US tit - will be OVER! He's already stated how he intends to pull funding of NATO down the levels of the rest of the allies, instead of us being 75% of it. How's THAT for us "pulling out of the worlds politics"? I'd love to see us pull our troops out of the United Nations as well. Screw being the police for the world, as well as the world's piggy-bank. What do we get out of it? NOTHING, except an ungrateful smart mouth, and more and more immigrants arriving on our doorstep with their hands out looking to weigh down our social systems even more than they already are. I'd love for Trump to become President, then pull funding out of NATO, UN, build a wall all along Mexico, and pull all "aid" from the Middle East, as well as ALL of our US servicement overseas. Screw 'em! Let the world handle their own affairs for a change. Bring back our carrier groups to Norfold, San Diego, and Honolulu.

  Do you really want to fan the flames of pro-gun vs anti-gun crowds around here, AGAIN? We all know it turns into the USA/Swiss/Israeli VS the UK Kingdoms, etc. A few month months back, how many long-time members LEFT (or were dismissed) over this forum bickering?

  Seriously, this is a place to talk about JW or cult-related topics. Not politics, firearms, Trump's hair, etc.

  I frankly don't care what the Brits or Aussies are doing. As an American, I don't answer to the "Queen Mum", and as being under the British monarchy or whatever the fugg it is, I don't expect you to answer to our President. So live well, enjoy a pint and some shrimp on the barbie. I'll enjoy a pilsner of Sam Adams after a day of target shooting or hiking.

  My Bible Study Is Wide Awake To The TTATT

  i ran into my old bible study at the kingdom hall recently, he was baptized as a jw 8 years ago.

  we started talking about small things and catching up about our families and then the bombshell.. "my wife and i are deeply troubled by the watchtower change of doctrine, prophecy, and their history"!

  "did you know about charles russell and his failed marriage... his view of pyramids... generation mistakes... and dates... that place in california for returning prophets..."and on and on he went.. i told him i knew all about it and then show him a publication on display in the foyer (i think it is divine plan of the ages), and it had a fold out of a pyramid and a description on bible verses that showed 1914 was the year the big a was going to happen.

  Isn't something like 90% of Scandinavia considered to be "non-religious", even atheist already?

  Bet you natives just LOVE all of the middle-eastern immigrants/refugees that have been crowding into your countries as fast they can to mooch off your welfare systems, drain your resources, push their Sharia Law practices, etc.....all the while bitching and moaning about how they though they'd have it better?

  I've seen that Kevin Smith experience with Prince before. It really proved to me just how out of touch with reality, and how much of an asshole Prince really is. Here on the last day, Kevin Smith worked long long hours and sacrificed time with his own son on Father's Day, and Prince couldn't even say "Thanks" at the end of it. I'd have been royally PISSED at such callous, disgusting treatment. But then again, this same level of hatefulness is pretty commonplace in Kingdom Halls all across the world. Goes with the territory. (Ha!)

  Prince was a musical genius and an eccentric, self-centered asshole all wrapped up in one. I for one, can't understand the fascination or falling all over him over his death.
