  Big Day fast approaching Letting go

  the big day is two days away when she will say "i do".

  i knew this day would come someday but as a mom you just want to hold on even though i did everything to train her to be very independent.

  she has been making most of her own decisions since middle school.. she moved away 5 years ago but still was totally mine till 2 years ago when mr. wonderful appeared in her life.

  Final Rejection

  i have just returned from visiting friends and family.

  when i was disassociated my parents had contact with me a few months before my dad was diagnosed with cancer.

  i was reinstated 20 months after his funeral and then they disfellowshipped me 5 months later as they are convinced i had not changed my life enough to be a jw again.

  If I had a mother that acted that way towards my son, I wouldn't even see her "in her box". If she can't be bothered to show you or your son respect while she is alive, what makes her think you're going to come and "pay your respects" when she is dead? Like the bible says, "....Let the dead bury the dead." F' these hateful ghouls.

  new topic due to new topic direction - immigration rather than economic - of course they might be related.... you often hear that in the us the jw growth is in the foreign language congregations.

  which is interesting because..... 25% of jw's are first generation immigrants (ie born abroad).

  Gee, and all of a sudden America is seeing spikes in bombings (Boston, NYC), mall shootings, stabbings, etc? Why, I am shocked, SHOCKED I tells ya! Just like Europe, the USA's "open door immigration" policy is now coming home to roost. You would have thought we would have learned after 9/11 and everything that's been happening in Europe with their "religion of peace" immigrants, but ooohhhh noooo!!! We can't "hurt their feelings" by not letting them in, Nope! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! Ask people in Norway, Sweden, and France how they feel about their now decades old "let them all in!!!" policy, and see what responses you get. Sweden in particular, is pretty fed up with these parasitic moochers, and nearly all of the Jews in many parts of Sweden have been driven out, many leaving for Israel. People who are sympathetic to the Syrians, Ethiopian, and other Muslim immigrants: Let the rich countries of UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the like take their asses in!!

  This is so laughable. I've been to the Andes of Peru, as well as deep in the Amazon jungle. I mean DEEP.....2 hour boat ride down the Amazon. I've also been on the floating markets of Bangkok. It is NOT squeaky clean like this. The Andes in particular, are a rough terrain, way harder than the Rockies. No way would you see people dressed to the 'Nines like this in such rugged terrain. You'd also have to have people that speak actual Incan in some parts of these remote mountainous countries. That's right, a little known remnant of Incan dialect is actually still spoken in different parts of the Andes. How many JW's can speak that? I somehow doubt it's printed? So really, this is probably total bull. Just made up BS to guilt all the 1st world JW's to pioneer more, cause hey? These people have to backpack it in the Andes of Chile, so what's your excuse Sister Fatazz? Give me a break.

  Young Ones Leaving

  in the congregation that i grew up in there were about 30 children under 16 (myself included).

  as time went on they one by one slipped away from the meetings and most never got baptized.

  of those 30 children only myself and two other girls stayed and got baptized.

  yes my holy anionted mom who has cancer is concerned that the loving god jehovah may ask her in heaven to destroy here non believer family including her 5 year old grandchild during armagedon....how messed up are these crazy people!!?

  now i know i am getting older or of the older generation.

  i have had a very strange day with a lot of strange dealings with people with strange behavior today but this one incident was just over the top.

  so i came out of a store in a busy shopping center.

  In 2000, my now wife and I were in Times Square in New Year's Eve. You have to get there early, like 6:00pm, to even get a half-decent spot. There are ZERO porta-potties. Once you are in your section in Times Square, you are not allowed out until after midnight. You are surrounded by people of every nationality. It's cold. You gotta pee. What do you do? You have your friends (or people around you) encircle you, while you squat down and piss in a plastic bottle. (if you even have one) If not, you have to hold it for 6+ hours. You do what you gotta do.

  after receiving a letter at my home calling me for a "judicial audience" after having quit 5 years ago the jw, i decided to go to the police and talk about the policy within jw.org: social abuse, judicial threats and in my case sexual abuses.. a national newspaper in spain www.elperiodico.es has decided to give visibility to this situation.
