I live in south-central Pennsylvania. The Amish and Old Order Mennonite have been like this since forever. Everyone thinks they're so nice and quaint. It's a total farce and BS. They are a total CULT, treat women as 2nd class citizens, work children as soon as they can walk, treat horse and other animals so inhumanely you'd think they're barbarians, only allow an 8th grade education, are total cheapskates, all the while demanding the very best and religious tax exemption, and use ex-communication and shunning as control mechanisms. Oh! And the sexual abuse in children is something like 7 out of 10. And I'm not even touching on the genetic deficiencies.

I'd NEVER want to live in such an oppressive society. American is becoming so PC now that it's being seen as oppressive. If you aren't for coddling illegal immigrants, giving away the farm cause they want the free handout, you are automatically labeled a "Numpty", and/or a "racist". If you are Pro-American, you are labeled a Facist, or worse yet, a NAZI. All one has to do is look at what's happening in (some) parts of Europe to see that it isn't looking good over there. To see how their own social welfare programs and open borders are being used against them. I've heard that even KNIVES are now banned by the Muslim Mayor of London. Meanwhile, acid attacks and rape are UP. Gee, I wonder why? Big mystery. Everyone knows the answer, but is too shamed by political correctness to speak up. They are but beggars to their own demise, all due to their idiotic ideology, which is being used effectively against them.

aside from blatant homophobia, the scenes at the end of the convention that are discussed on another thread stoop to new levels of fear mongering.

This type of "End Game" induced mentality is EXACTLY the type of crap Jim Jones and Koresh used right before they circled the wagons one last time for a "Last Stand." Could they actually call the truly elite faithful up to WT HQ, to ride it out thru the Great Tribulation and Big A? Nothing would surprise me at this point, NOTHING.
SIDEBAR: JW's depiction of an elite paramilitary fighting force is really lame. The rifles are just "ok", and the sights are the cheapest crap available, certainly not Trijicon, Vortex, or NightForce quality. Uniforms are years behind and seemingly incomplete as well. However, I assume they did this to look about "Generic Paramilitary" as they could for the Sheeple around the world.
