I've got plenty of grey hairs as I have a 16 year old son. He's never stepped foot into a Kingdumb Hell, and he never will! At least my hair is grey, and I'm not bald! I'm also a fitness freak, so I'm in damn good shape.

I'll be 41 this summer. This is the year 2020. If someone had told my parents in the 80's that we'd still be here in 2020, they'd have passed out. In the early summer of 1984, my parents were nervous because they had to take me into school and register me for Kindergarten. That first day of school, they drove me and were talking about how I'd never even see high school. I graduated 23 years ago, and my parents are DEAD!!!!! (my father 21 years, my mother 13 years ago!)
Everything I was taught as a child in the 80's is basically "Old Light" now. It's bullshit! ALL of it! I have no real problems with the Christian belief system, but for damn sure I have a problem with this disgusting CULT that robbed me of a normal childhood, education, etc.

i'm day six of isolation, confirmed to have coronavirus.
i have been seeing very sick cv positive patients over the last month in my a&e role (emergency physician) it was inevitable i would contract it.. just wanted to give some symptom and treatment advice, it's anecdotal but may help.. started as sore throat and headache, then croaky voice, then dry cough, then episodic transient fevers, all this over the first few days.
Good to hear from you S&R! Please keep us updated on your health and progress, and thanks for the feedback, tips, and advice.
some people i know have not gone out of their houses in weeks.
some will walk near their homes and run right back in.

my old user account says i joined this forum 19 years ago, an intermittent poster starting 102 topics, the last about 12 years ago.
with my community under a volunteer stay-at-home policy and a mandatory curfew, i took the time to read all of my old posts and the replies, reminding me of how informative and therapeutic this forum was during my jw to ex-jw transition.. in 2018, my life took another turn with the death of my wife of 49-1/2 years after a long illness.
my writing, according to observers, lost its edge and purpose.. i travelled to asia, meeting a beautiful, intelligent woman in cagayan de oro, philippines, 33 years my junior.
Asian chicks are hot. I just hope you aren't suckered into housing her entire family cause they'll want to immigrate as well. Good Luck with all that!
