I'm in south-central Pennsylvania. (born and raised in JW's) Attended several congregations, specifically, the ones that Martin Haugh and Sarah Brooks attended that were discussed in the news and also the Oxygen network special.
Mark talks about 9 cases being brought forward in Pennsylvania over the past year or so here. Ha!! I know of 9 CSA cases in just 3-4 Congregations, MINIMUM. Just 1 or 2 counties. And that's the tip of the iceberg from what I'm told in the know.
Frankly, if this really blows up, and I mean REALLY blows it, it'll make the Archdioses of Harrisburg look TAME by comparison.

hi friends , i thought i would just let you know it`s my wife and i, 62nd wedding anniversary today.. not that we were able to celebrate much as my wife wasn`t up to it today .. however i did manage to give her a couple of champers at home ,while i had a couple o ales with friends down at the club and managed to put on lotto for tonite and a couple of keno`s from the club ,you never know the god`s might smile upon us for doing something right after all these years.?.

Yeah, it must be a real kick-to-the-teeth for all the Old Timers seeing this shit show now. No magazines to place? Who the hell could have ever imagined that? That's "Important life-saving work!"
Placing literature in hands of the worldly was paramount to everything else. If they don't have the literature, they can't at least browse it and MAYBE become an "interested one"? How many worldly people check out the JW website after seeing a card or advertisement? Some, to be sure, but right after that they do what 99% of anyone does when looking up a new product of consideration: GOOGLE it. After just 5 mins of a Google background of JW's, anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together is completely dismissing them as a pedo-protecting, end-times false prophecy CULT. Period.
I'd say WT HQ is circling the wagons, as their numbers continue to circle the drain. They can only hope to retain the current aging membership and some homeschooled morons thru digital brainwashing material from the soon to be built RAMAPO. There's seriously not much difference between the JW model and Scientology at this point. Know anyone joining Scientology? Neither do I.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen! As a child of the 80's, I can tell you that magazines were paramount in the door-to-door ministry. They were used as proof, right at the door, of just how close to "The End" everyone was. This is particularly true of anything from the year 1984. It's really hard to convey to anyone not alive during that time just how it was constantly drummed into our heads that we'd never get old, never even get to high school (much less graduate from it) and walk into the New Order waaaaaay before the year 2000 even.
I graduated in 1997. My son graduated 25 years after me, and is now nearly thru his Freshman year of college.
