  all i know is it seems very similar to j f rutherford's much-vaunted 16-cylinder cadillac.

  FYI: The 1986 documentary (the very first one ever!) entitled "Witnesses of Jehovah", actually mentions that he had TWO 16-cylinder Caddy's.

  I tell ya something else, it is absolutely WILD to me how dumbed-down this cult is now.

  I'm a child of the 80's.

  I remember 4 day District Conventions.

  I remember 2 WatchTower's and an Awake! per month, with many, many pages to have to constantly read/study/underline. It was never-ending.

  Today? 2 WatchTower's a year? An Awake! whenever they feel like putting one out? Some dumb ass videos off the website? MAYBE a toilet-paper thin pamphlet to distribute every other year in Service?

  Wild to me....absolutely bonkers. And don't even get me started on the New Age-ish music videos and dumbass Caleb and Sophia cartoons. How much more stupid can they be?

  At least in the 50's-early-90's the JW's came off as studious. Oh sure it was BS, but it was BS you had to think about to understand. Today's JW's are simple-minded morons. But that's what WT HQ want; people just smart enough to barely read, and dumb enough to keep dropping money into the donation boxes and "OBEY" at all costs, no matter what the Gluttonous Bozos say. Oh, and maintain their real estate holdings for free! It's so obvious it's a money-making cult now......no wonder the youth are leaving in droves!

  Regional Convention Attendance

  elder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).

  he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.

  co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

  Just think, Jersey City is near WT HQ. (relatively). So they can't even get JW's within a couple hours to attend Assemblies anymore. This, after closing and combining Congregations to fudge the numbers to begin with.

  WatchTower are the absolute Masters in gaslighting and narcissistic tactics. They make YOU feel like you are the one that is crazy, instead of THEM being full-on false prophets and bullshitters.

  These articles above along with several of the books released in the 60's-70's and then also the 1984 Bound Volumes absolutely 100% PROVE that WatchTower are false prophets. They made these prophecies and declarations in God's name. These things didn't come to pass. We shall not be afraid of them, nor continue to follow after them, per Deuteronomy's fine advice. God and Jesus would absolutely not fault us for continuing to follow them based upon their own track record and dubious history.

  I distinctly remember critical thinking also being referred to as:

  "The Spirit of Independent Thinking", and you had to be careful or you'd fall victim to it as Eve did in the Garden of Eden. It's crazy, because saying it like that gave it a negative slant right from the get go. This, combined with snide remarks of, "You're to smart for your own good" or "You think too much" made JW's feel guilty for using their own brains. And of course, I didn't even learn about the praise the Boreans got until AFTER I was an adult and had already exited this dumbass cult.

  what do you guys think it could be?.

  my guess is a study companion to go with their new jesus series, they really need to rebrand at this point..

  OK, ok.........

  It's the "Study Bible" they've been tolling away on now for several years. Completed and shipped, and these are the first runs. The JW Broadcasting for November is that Monday, so it all coincides. I'm sure Geoffrey Jackson or Mark Sanderson (whichever one collects the old bibles) will get the honour of announcing it to the world.

  This is all such BS. You really think WT HQ is dumb enough at this point to ship something out almost 6 months in advance? They know they've got moles and leakers out here releasing everything ahead of time.

  This is a big nothing burger. Probably just the Service Overseer's order for WT and Awake! for the year. It's one box, because they hardly put out anything anymore and are pressured to order the bare minimum for distribution. Everything is pushed to be viewed online now. (incredible sight to behold for a once great Publishing Cult)

  EDIT: Ok, I take it back. WT HQ apparently IS fuggin' dumb enough to do something like this. WTF???? I read the "confidential" memo to the Elduhz. Has this ever even happened before? Shocking stupidity. Or maybe a way to find out moles? Each box could be different in some way, and whomever releases the info could then easily be traced, or at least narrowed down to (1) small Elduh Body. This is cult crazy. lol
