It just gets more bizarre with each post. Sure it's humorous, but I also think it's quite dangerous to be entertaining such delusions of grandeur. Like I said, they could start really believing their own psychotic bullshit, and go on some religious-induced killing spree because they feel that now they've become the Angel of Death or something.

I too caught this tidbit of spiritual "encouragement" and my jaw nearly hit my toes. So the reward for following the "Faithful Slave" into poverty isn't a show of gratitude, but rather an exclamation of, "Shut the f*ck up you old complainers, we need the youth to be just as ignorant and impoverished."
Truly, those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it, and that's one lesson the Governing Body can't afford to have the young ones learn!!!!!!
I agree with the poster above who mentioned the scripture about the slave beating his fellow slaves......fits perfectly.
When are people going to realize that they no longer have servants and shephards, but OverLords who control every aspect of the empty existance? It's getting sad....very very sad to see what this quasi-religion has become.
Truly, the beatings WILL continue until morale improves!!

Some of you fail to realize that by responding favourably to AGuest (and similar psychos) you are only feeding into their psychosis, empowering them to continue on with their delusions of grandeur.
Imagine....they become so empowered that soon they think they are Jesus incarnate, and that they have returned to execute judgement upon their neighbours with a flaming sword!!! They then go next door and kill their unsuspecting neighbours. How does that sound???
These people don't need babying, they need serious medical attention - a freakin reality check via Lithium and a padded cell. Playing along or even in to their delusions only makes them more dangerous. DUH!!!!!

This is why I keep the 1984 Bound Volume. I can easily flip to the WT May 15th, 1984 editions and say, "See? Right here is proof that when I was 5 years old I was told I would NEVER grow up, become old, or die in this system of things, see? Right here!!!!" It is undeniable!!!
2014 will be 30 years since this May 15th 1984 WT came out, and all of the older ones that we studied with are DEAD, both of my parents are DEAD, and I am still here, getting older, working, still in this system of things. No one can make the claim to me that these things weren't absolutely PROMISED to me.
My generation has 1914, just as the previous older generation had 1975. 1914 is the new 1975, except no one can claim to have not have heard the "proofs".

So the older ones have regrets about not getting an education, planning for the future, and livng in abstract poverty, all the while The Bossert Hotel stands in all it's splender?????? My-O-My!!! What fuggin hypocrites!!!! So somehow, the Governing Body gets to fly all around the world first class, all the while heaping blame upon the flock for being paupers, which the Governing Body commanded them to be in the first place!!!
One thing of interest, is that here we see definitive proof that the "sighing and moaning" of the flock really IS getting back to the Governing Body, and what is their response????? To beat them down even more and claim that it's there own fault for ending up in such a predicament, even though they were only following orders!!
Another "smoothing over" is the claim about how they "sent out" Bethel workers into special pioneering assignments. Hahahahaha!! What utter bullshit!!! More like they were kicked to the curb after decades of faithful service with NOTHING to show for it; no job skills, no pensions, no retirement funds, no 401K, no NOTHING!! Keep warm and well fed, Brothers!!!!!

The way they talk about the ailing and aging flock, as well as their smug attitudes is enough to make me vomit, and 7 Million JW's actually believe these con-artists are "Princes among men." Disgusting!!!

Facebook privacy settings are crucial to control your info!!

we are hearing it time and time again: you "friended" some jw family member, long-ago pioneer partner, etc, etc.
that person then goes through your facebook profile and sees everything you've written, your photos of you and your new life including holidays, partners, worldly activities, etc, etc.

I just thought I'd start this topic about Facebook privacy settings as I am seeing it come up on here and other forums A LOT where you have people who are on Facebook and then their JW family or friends are requesting to be friends with them and they don't know what to do!!
We are hearing it time and time again: you "friended" some JW family member, long-ago pioneer partner, etc, etc. That person then goes through your Facebook profile and sees everything you've written, your photos of you and your new life including holidays, partners, worldly activities, etc, etc. Then, all hell brakes loose and you are left wondering what to do??? Elders or a-hole family members snooping around, trying to make your life hell? There IS a solution, all the while maintaining your sanity and allowing you freedom to post what you want!!!
People, learning about every single detail of your privacy and account settings in the Facebook social network is to your own benefit!!!!
Believe it or not, you CAN have your cake AND eat it too!!! What do I mean?? Well, for starters in your privacy settings you can customize what people see.....EVERYBODY. From "everyone" to "friends", to "friends of friends", to "groups", etc, etc.
This is mainly accomplished by creating "groups" under your friends list. For instance, you can create a "JW Family" group than put your JW family into it, and then tweak the privacy settings so that they see NOTHING!!!! Hahaha!! Post all of the worldly holiday photos you want, the "JW Family" group will never see it!!! Just make sure the privacy settings are set correctly!!
There has been a lot of talk about people spying on people through their friends because they are friends also. Guess what? Adjust your privacy settings so that posts, photos, topics, profile info, etc, etc, is only available to "friends" and not "friends of friends" or "everyone". I believe you can also make all features privacy settings "group specific" so that only certain groups can see your photos, posts, etc, etc. You can get very specific about this stuff.
By not knowing the subtle nuances of Facebook's privacy settings you are only opening yourself up to a world of hurt. You can use these same settings to filter out co-workers who you may want to friend, but that who you don't want to see more private photos, posts, etc. Same with your application or Farmville friends. Just create the "Game Friends" group under your friend list, place them in there, and adjust the privacy settings so that they can only see your game notifications, nothing else. You could theoretically have thousands of people in such a folder helping with your games and apps, all the while they know NOTHING of your private life because they can't see it!!!!!
If anyone else would like to post some tips and tricks of keeping Facebook private, all the while "friending" people in order to not make yourself look like some isolationist, then by all means please respond and give us your tips.
