  oklahoma incarcerates more women per capita than any other state, at a rate of 142 per 100,000. on sept. 25, 2015, lacie maytubby, 35, came into women in recovery on a lesser charge—drug possession, not trafficking—and without ever experiencing prison, but her addiction to heroin and opioids was at its worst.. maytubby had just learned her father was in the late stages of cancer.

  Young Ones Leaving

  in the congregation that i grew up in there were about 30 children under 16 (myself included).

  as time went on they one by one slipped away from the meetings and most never got baptized.

  of those 30 children only myself and two other girls stayed and got baptized.

  yes my holy anionted mom who has cancer is concerned that the loving god jehovah may ask her in heaven to destroy here non believer family including her 5 year old grandchild during armagedon....how messed up are these crazy people!!?

  now i know i am getting older or of the older generation.

  i have had a very strange day with a lot of strange dealings with people with strange behavior today but this one incident was just over the top.

  so i came out of a store in a busy shopping center.

  In 2000, my now wife and I were in Times Square in New Year's Eve. You have to get there early, like 6:00pm, to even get a half-decent spot. There are ZERO porta-potties. Once you are in your section in Times Square, you are not allowed out until after midnight. You are surrounded by people of every nationality. It's cold. You gotta pee. What do you do? You have your friends (or people around you) encircle you, while you squat down and piss in a plastic bottle. (if you even have one) If not, you have to hold it for 6+ hours. You do what you gotta do.

  after receiving a letter at my home calling me for a "judicial audience" after having quit 5 years ago the jw, i decided to go to the police and talk about the policy within jw.org: social abuse, judicial threats and in my case sexual abuses.. a national newspaper in spain www.elperiodico.es has decided to give visibility to this situation.

  If your sons are old enough to know the cult is crap, and are on your side, why continue to live like this? Get a DIVORCE!!! You can then be free, and she can marry her cult that she obviously loves more than her family.

  Do you remember 1975? I remember 1984.

  if i mention "1984" you will probably think of george orwell and his book " 1984".however i think of "1984" as a year in my life when watford football club reached the f.a cup final.

  ( the f.a cup is the biggest footballing occasion in english sport, and my club " little watford" were in it) but instead of going to watch the game, i was forced by my dad to miss attending the match and prioritize on theocratic w.t study.. so for me the year 1984 was the year i should have woken up to " the truth about the truth" sadly it took another 30 years of generation and doctrinal change before this boy became " awake" and understood his defining moment and realized he was fooled by the w.t.. anyway 1984 was a long time ago, but today in 2016, i realized 1984 had a " modern day 2016 application" that happened last saturday, when i took my boy to watch my " little " watford play "mighty "manchester united" and we won 3.1. now it's wednesday and my boy and i are still on cloud 9, even orlandos school teacher started monday lessons by saying " well done watford ".

  yes little watford outplayed and beat the mighty united.

  Those 1984 Watchtower and Awake! magazine covers are pure gold!!! 1914: A focal point of prophecy? The Generation of 1914, and others that year are just amazing. I have the bound volumes from back then as proof of their claims, etc. I was 5 in 1984, and I still remember the urgency and near paranoia they stirred up in the congregation I was in. They were actually used as "proofs" in the door-to-door ministry!!!!! Actual PROOF, that we were in the time of the End, imminent proof! Therefore, I have to agree with you. 1984's literature is about as hard hitting as the 1975 fiasco, because of what they so boldly put into print and pushed as "proof." Today, it's all "old light" and it's like no one even remembers. I think that's mainly because 1.) so many from then are dead (like my parents) and 2.) So many of the JW's today weren't even born then, so are completely unaware. It's crazy.

  Circuit ASSembly low-lites

  so in an effort to relieve some pressure here are what i term the low-lites of yesterday's assembly that i had to endure for the sake of family still in and my progressing fade.

  apologies in advance for being pretty long winded.. these may not all be the actual words used, but the ones i use are close, and they pretty well say what was said from the platform.. right off the bat in the opening prayer the praises of the governing body were spoken.
