  in my city philadelphia they closed many kingdom halls.

  my hall was desolved and most of the publishers were added to a congregation that only had 50 publishers.

  Big Announcement in Montreal

  just got the heads up from montreal that 16 congregations will cease to exist from 1 april 2019. also 3 kh are no longer going to be used anymore.

  this was a major announcement for many and upsetting.

  wonder where the r& f are going to be dispersed with what sacrifices in the way!.

  Moving to Minnesota

  you probably think i need mental counseling but i am moving from southwest florida to minnesota.

  i was just there last week in the -29 degree weather to close on a house i bought in oakdale, minnesota.

  being a florida resident for 5 years has taught me that it is no longer the paradise that people think it is.

  Florida is a cesspool!!! Always too hot. Hurricanes. New Yorker retirees who think they own the fuggin' place. Cock-a-roaches the size of your palm. And now, huge pythons in the everglades, eating everything up! Oh, and huge wild boars. And hurricanes! Nah.....fugg that place. I'd rather live outside the twin cities myself.   no, i did not stop studying because i believe the jehovah's witnesses are a 'cult', i left due to the minor beliefs that i hold that remain separate from the organization.

  i called my elder who is still an amazing man and great counselor, affirming that i do not wish to continue my studying.

  the letter is 41 years belated.

  i am now 78 years old so this was a bucket list item.

  Damn.......your son's would have to be brain-dead zombies to not shed a tear after reading that. I'll be 40 this year, and even I remember most of what you are talking about. The early 1980's were pure WT Gold when it came to printing End-Times apocalyptic bullshit, and the 1914, Generation, etc WatchTower covers are proof of it. I can't believe you didn't focus on that a bit more.....as they were young men in the early 1980's, and probably remember it very clearly as well. They are in their 50's? Well then, they've seen the "evolution" of this weird sect into a full-blown cult. You'd have to have shit for brains to deny it at this point in time. Who knows what your letter might stir up in their brains. Good luck.
