The Trinity
by meadow77 intop reasons the wts is lying about the trinity.
their translation of john 1:1 is not only a complete farce but falls apart upon closer examination of their own beliefs.
the insertion of the phrase a god, instead of god is just a clear misinterpretation.

UnDisfellowshipped,
Has anyone informed you lately that you're a big cry baby? At least once before you had to be reminded about being touchy and holding a grudge.
I think words have just been put in my mouth that I never spoke.
That's a weird thing that's been happening to me lately in this Thread.
Once again, I think words have been put in my mouth:
And what is with all the Name-Calling here?
Now, I'm Un-Sensible (to go along with the huge list of other Names I have been called in this Thread).
Just like most of the other arrogant Trinitarians I know, you sit there and wimper when your arguments are shown to be totally without foundation in the Scriptures. If you had the Scriptures on your side, and If God were with you, you would have the utmost confident that "sticks and stones" won't break your bones and names will never hurt you. Your feelings wouldn't be hurt so easily. You would have the assurance that truth will ultimately triumph. Your frequent worries about what others think of you clearly demonstrate that you really don't have that confidence and assurance. And, because of being so self-centred rather than God and Christ oriented, and because you haven't learned how to use reason and logic, you often feel the need to respond with cockiness and lame-brain answers. Personally, I see no purpose in continuing to use reason with an unreasonable person. The Devil has succeeded in convincing you that the God of Christians is a freakish three-headed monster. You rarely read the Scriptures as they were meant to be read. Instead, you constantly read them only to find support for a pagan, God-dishonouring falsehood. You deserve to be mocked by the pictures I post, which are mainly for the enjoyment of those who see through your misguided thinking and deceptive teachings. Interestingly, you even have questions about graphic illustrations that even a child would understand.

UnDisfellowshipped,
You can't even try to be sensible, can you?
Only if you're a "Oneness Pentecostal".
What I tried to show you is your inconsistency. Be honest about that. Look again at what you did with John 1:1:
John 1:1 is saying "The Word (Jesus) was with God (the Father) and the Word (Jesus) was God (the Son)."
In the same verse, you cannot give the definition of God one time as "Father" and another time as "the Son."
You already said that when Jesus and the Father are mentioned in the same verse that the Father in those instances is always called God. To be consistent, you have to say "and the Word was the Father."

UnDisfellowshipped,
You wrote:
Hmmm, well, you know what, my experience with Unitarians hasn't been real good either.
So, you apparently agree with Meadow77 that it's much better to make false charges than to use the Bible to refute points of argument. Yep, just like your typical Trinitarian. They never fail to disappoint me. At least I can admire their consistency in that respect, if not in any other. -

UnDisfellowshipped,
Isn't the following more consistent than the rendition you gave?
"In the beginning was the Jesus (the Word), and Jesus (the Word) was with the Father (God), and Jesus (the Word) was the Father (God)."

Meadow77 had not even one Bible answer to the points I made in my last post to her. So what does she do? She does the only thing that any typical Trinitarian knows how to do: She makes up all kinds of false charges in an effort to tell me off.
No theologians or scholars can be accepted, unless they are used by you.
No greek or hebrew can mean something unless you say it does.
No translation is acceptable unless you use it.
God could not possibly be saying something unless you think it's clear.
You are a self righteous hypocrite.
Are you on drugs?
Liar liar pants on fire.
I am not sure I have ever meant someone as pompous as you.
You seem to have alot of growing up to to.
